I think that there will be at least 2-4 hidden fighters, maybe more. It was already said my Boon himself that the sub-boss would be a playable hidden fighter, so theres 1. Here's my take......

1.MK:D's Sub Boss(as mention aboved)

2.Rain(mention him from Steve that he was in Konquest would point to his return)

3.Reptile-maybe, unless he is the Dragon King. I remembering reading that he can evolve/de-evolve.

4.Fujin-Raiden needs some help and having another leader for earth would help out

Also, I consider these fighters........
-Kung Loa
-Jade
-Jarek
-Shao Kahn

For some reason I doubt that characters from MkDA will be hidden since they were playable. Mortal Kombat has never just made old selectable characters into hidden characters. Why would they make Mkda characters hidden even though we know all their moves and story. They'll make characters from the first 3 or 4 mk's into hidden characters since they werent in MKDA.

I'd be so happy to see Kitana, Sonya, and Kung Lao playable (whether they're hidden or not)!!!

All I hope for is that the "unlockable" characters are different and not just copies of the original characters that you start off with. Like in Tekken. However, I don't think that will happen.

I think it'll be:

Kung-Lao
Sonya
Quan
Shang
Jade
Cage

And possibly Sareena, Fujin, and Rain (But not because he was specifically mentioned for konquest mode, I think that it was just a randum name of an older character that you'll find in Konquest. I think Rain, because he is very popular and there are quite a few people who want to see him.)

They'd be gameplay only characters..besides, Johnny Cage is a classic character. MK3 was the only MK he missed. Just based on that fact alone, he seems likely to be included.

It's possible that they might stick in MKDA characters, despite their current status (Dead, wherabouts unknown etc;) Just for extra gameplay, sort of like Goro and Kintaro in MKT. Their appearances wouldn't be canon, they'd just be there purely for gameplay.
