Once again the forces of Earth destroyed the threats of Shang Tsung and Quan-Chi. Raiden returned to his Elder God status and he made Fujin the new protector of the earth and Sub-Zero his most trusted warrior. After peace was returned a new danger emerged. The Evil Masters, a group of a highly skilled fighting clan, has discovered the key to releasing a new kind of evil known as the Dragon King. Discovering Sub-Zero obtains the Dragon Amulet they attack the Lin Kuei and steal it with force. Fujin’s mission is to find new warriors to help fight but there is an old evil, one we all know, who has been reawakened...

SUB-ZERO
Many years have passed since Sub-Zero organized the new Lin Kuei and he has fought against many threats to protect it. Old but still strong his abilities continue to enhance and he will do everything in his power to stop the Evil Masters and retrieve the Dragon Amulet.

SCORPION
Thought to have been killed by the Onis when his body was thrown inside of the soulnado Scorpion’s spirit lives on in limbo. Years pass and his spirit roams the afterlife in peace but when the Evil Masters break the barriers he returns to his death place, just like he never left.

ERMAC
Freed from Shang Tsung’s spell by Kenshi he was able to assist him with taking out some of the Deadly Alliance’s warriors in secret. Ermac soon learns that Shang Tsung is destroyed and he disappears from Outworld to another place. Now he has returned, but why?

NOOB SAIBOT
After killing Goro on the battlefield the black ninja is on the run and the Edenian’s are after him. He takes up hiding in Shao Kahn’s fortress and remains hidden for many years serving Shinnok. When Baraka uses the soul cage Noob Saibot lends his services to him, for a short while.

BARAKA
Quan-Chi had supposedly killed Baraka years ago for failing to kill the monk Kung Lao. Instead he merely banished him and Baraka remained alive and growing with rage. But when Baraka finds Shao Kahn’s soul cage with his spirit inside he releases it and revives his master.

MILEENA
Wife of Baraka, clone of Kitana and servant of Shao Kahn the beauty has returned with full intention on killing her sister. She is able to make her dream come true when she sides with Shao Kahn but how long will she remain loyal?

NIGHTWOLF
The first warrior Sub-Zero found wandering through the desert Nightwolf returns after having a vision of the Dragon King. He knows Sub-Zero can be trusted and they travel to Fujin’s shrine and they search for others to join. Nightwolf will do all that he can to protect his people.

“SHE-RAIDEN”
Born a mortal in Earth she was kept hidden by the Elder Gods and nobody knew of her existence, not even Raiden told his warriors. Trained as an apprentice by Fujin she has combined her fighting skills and powers and will do all that she can to assist the Earth.

Others:

REPTILE
The Evil Masters had two goals to achieve: the Dragon Amulet and a kind of vessel for the Dragon King. Reptile unleashed the egg and he changed into a more human creature donning his old uniform. But he is captured, tortured but escapes from the Evil Masters and flees with the amulet.

SHAO KAHN
Killed by the sorcerers years before Shao Kahn’s soul is sent inside of his soul cage to remain as he had done years before. He is freed by the mutant Baraka and this time he wants to pay Earth a second visit and he will not be merciful.

DAIROU
A samurai warrior hired by Shang Tsung and Quan-Chi. Once the castle is destroyed Dairou escapes and flees from the scene and he eventually has the opportunity to kill Kenshi. With the age effects of Outworld he has continued to stay the same age but his powers grow still.

MAVADO
One of the only members of the Deadly Alliance to escape to Earth he is soon hunted down by both the Special Forces and Eurasian Task Force. He eventually sides with the Tekunin and leads many attacks on Lin Kuei as a sign of trust. But when the portals of Outworld open he vanishes.

SIOBHAN
A martial arts mistress and a member of the Eurasian Task Force she has fought alongside the Special Forces on many occasions to bring down the Black Dragons and Red Dragons. When the Tekunin destroys her HQ Fujin’s warriors save her and she joins them to avenge her comrades.

JADE
When Mileena reappears and murders Kitana her friend Jade goes into hot pursuit following her into a trap in Outworld where she is wounded when Baraka appears. Later Fujin’s warriors help to heal her and she becomes a valuable player in the new war.

BAPHOMET
Elder Demon that was banished from the Heavens he is a horned beast and is leader of an Oni army. When he hears that the Evil Masters have made their way to Outworld he takes action and leads a group of his warriors into the realm in search of the Dragon Amulet as too.

SEKTOR
While Sub-Zero ages Sektor remains the same and his Tekunin clan grows. He sides with Mavado after the Deadly Alliance is destroyed and he uses him to help raid the Lin Kuei. After portals start opening again he and Mavado venture into Outworld. Sektor knows his lost amulet is nearby.

SAREENA
Unlike other demons Sareena wanted to help Sub-Zero because his brother was good to her. After joining the Lin Kuei she helps fend off Tekunin, Red Dragons and other threats. But when Frost is killed and Fujin wants her to join she disappears from the scene making her a possible threat.

SMOKE
Remaining dormant in the wastelands of Outworld for many years Smoke is found by Sub-Zero and reprogrammed. Still a robotic slave Sub-Zero does his best to release Smoke from his metallic shell. His old mission is a familiar one: eliminate Shao Kahn.

TIAMAT
Armored in iron clad and one of the fiercest warriors known Tiamat is a survivor from the Zaterrian battles when he was a general during fights with Shao Kahn. He fled to Earth to escape slavery but soon evolved and now he has a score to settle with the Emperor and his friend Reptile.

SUMO
Sometimes referred to as the “Evil Sumo” for his size and fierceness in a match he is actually a goodhearted man who loves nature. When Fujin’s warriors visit him and ask him to join them he refuses but he remembers that his family’s lives are at stake.

EVIL MASTERS
For centuries these beings have traveled across realms searching for an amulet: the Dragon Amulet. After finding it at the Lin Kuei they murder Frost and leave Sub-Zero’s castle in ruins. They consist of two wizards and a massive fiend of muscle who serves as their bodyguard.
