Maybe it is that, or maybe that is Strykers alternate outfit. I think they will have there classic outfits (the ones from MK3 and 4) and just have different alternative outfits. I mean look at rain he has a completely new look to him when they showed all the fighters as well as Reiko. We shall wait and see I guess.

Do you think Drahmin will be made more human like? I don't think that this game will be very canon or whatever, but Boon's problem is he'll tell us one thing then change his mind. As I've said before Stryker was in Orderrealm training to become a Seidan Guard, why not stick to that idea?

Stryker does look impressive. I always knew him and the rest of the underrated were going to return, though I didn’t expect it to happen with 60+ characters at ….reason why Im a bit concerned.
This IS his chance, they cant screw him. I hope they take their time to focus on him as a character with potential, with a decent story that doesn’t involve him being “a simple copâ€? who fights because he just has to.
He looks different in the fighting pic, Im really looking forward to him, Stryker AND the rest of the underrated MUST succeed in this game.

It looks alot like Jarek does in the large full cast picture, just in a different color scheme, like a player 2 one.
Like, I said, I'm not saying it couldn't be, but if it was an error on the part of the magazine, that certainly wouldn't be the 1st time its ever happened.

I know its his “trademarkâ€?, but come on, Stryker looks promising, he should be given more cooler things, new things that makes us be happy he is there.

Stryker does look amazing. Hopefully he'll be liked somehwat this time around. It'll be interesting to see which of his old moves he gets back.

If they're giving him back his old moves, he'll be using his tonfa. It'd make more sense for him to use that than anything else.

I know that the nightstick/tonfa is Stryker's main weapon, but I can see him using knives in some attacks. Think about it, Stryker relies on modern police/military weapons, guns, explosives and his nightstick, so knives could easily be available to him.
So far I really like the new outfit, whether it's his 1st or 2nd costume.

Stryker looks alot like he did in MK3 imo but I liked that look. Also, I hope he has his grenade attacks, nightstick attacks, and gun attacks.

Anyone expecting Stryker or any other of the less seen characters in MK to have some great compelling story and variety of moves is fooling themselves. As stated in the article Boon said that he wants a clean slate to start from for the next-gen systems. He even said Sub-Zero and Scorpion may not be in those games. So you have to ask yourself, do you really think that the lesser characters like Fujin, Kai, and Stryker are going to have these great stories and really developed persona's when Boon's favorite character may not even be back for the next MK?
Of course not. Why make those characters all great and cool now when they have even less of a chance of making the next MK game as the two most popular(to the public and in the MK community) Sub-Zero and Scorpion might not make the next game.
Now that's not to say I want the characters like Rain who I think looks awesome now along with others don't deserve cool moves and a good story. I just don't expect to see it happen and I'm not going to get my hopes up. And people should be cautioned to do the same.

Striker really does look cool in that pic. The blue and black work nicely as a color scheme for him and just make him look like a more developed character overall. It's probably safe to assume that Stryker will use blades instead of tonfas. Looking at his back it appears that he has two knives holstered on his shoulder blades. Though this is MK so we can't assume that they're actually functional. Scorpion had two swords on his back, and he didn't use them. (What a waste). Hopefully Stryker will be a different case.

You crazy?! Those gun and grenades attack are what made him people hate him! Seriously! Unless you are a machine, bombs and gun powder weapons have no place in a fighting game, 'cause it ain't fighting anymore.

I never really liked Stryker. It's so easy to make fun of him, but I don't hate. I prefer Stryker over more recent characters like Dairou, Shunjinko, and Ashrah.

He'll have his Tonfas/nightstick. It's clear that rain will have the knives. I wouldn't mind seeing him with Jax's gun though...lol! Just kiding. It would fit him though.

Regardless, they're his trademarks and should most definitely be back. I however don't think the gun should come back unless it's being used in a Fatality. That's where that moves belongs, imo.
