Alright, just because someone is rendered does NOT mean they are playable. Jade has an all new outfit. Stryker doesn't. Through process of elimination I would say Stryker isn't playable. Not to mention that the majority of MK fans absolutely hate Stryker.

So far Styrker is not playable and probably will not in the final version. Jade is still in prison and is playable but she has gotten an outfit upgrade. Styker has his old outfit and the chances of him making the final roster are extremely thin. But anything can happen in the nexr 2 months.

On the 1% chance that Stryker makes it in, you can take solace in the fact that you'll have at least 48 ways to kill him, not including Death Traps.

As to the thread: Stryker's chances of being playable in MKD are not high...but they are not 0 either. You never know, Boon could have decided to do it, simply because of the fact that people say "There's no way Stryker's coming back!" And he wants to show them that he calls the shots..not them. *shrugs* It's not likely he'll show, but not impossible either.

I hope he is. I really liked Stryker because he was dragged into this whole life or death thing. How would you feel if you learnt martial arts one day, then woke up the next and found a guy with electricity floaing around his body telling you you had to fight 8'ft tall horses that can fire energy balls. I would personally be hiding under a rock, but since all the rocks are in bad guy territory, you'd have to fight.

I think Stryker is probably the first REAL person in Mortal Kombat, and I'd love to see how far he'd get. He was my favourite character in MK3, and I too know people who really miss the guy.

I hope he's not playable... He's just a ridiculous slot filler for me...

i like him too You-Know-Who.. to those saying that his render is old and jades is new.. well jades wasnt updated until recently,but that was to us recently, whos really knows when jade got her updated look.. styker,kitana, reiko plus the others could all be playable and get an updated look..

Frankly, I'll be a bit annoyed if they decide to give a slot to Stryker when there are so many good characters (Sonya, Sektor, Cyrax, Nitara, Kung Lao, and of course, Kitana) who won't be selectable. I'm already bitter about Nightwolf - you just know he has zero connection to anyone else in the game. His bio better be good.
