hey ya think it would be cool if for the boss you fought the dragon king and for the sub boss you could fight his army, kinda like a survival mode, or you have to last for 2 minutes fighting the DKs army

i think this is a really good idea. i posted something very similar somewhere here - it might be hidden away in the wishlist thread somewhere, anyways here it is:
sub boss - dragon kings lost army
you have to simultaneously fight against ...lets just say 5 for now... of the dragon kings cronies. these men would have no specials, half the regular life bar and the reduced ability to do combos (3-4 hits max)
obviously they would start at the corners of the arena allowing the player to close in on at least one before 'gang up kombat'
i think something like this would require a real understanding in evasive moves. and it also builds on the current storyline and fills in the spot for the quoted undoable shokan (for the moment) and a replacement for the dissappointing moloch. not to mention something completely different!
mk5 boasted branch style combos where you could start a combo in one stance and finish it in another. imagine if mk6 boasted starting a combo on one opponent and finishing it on a different opponent.
for this to work perhaps a block button could work as a second function where it makes you sqare off to your opponent (i think the character squares off if you fress any movement button in mkda) and in the sub boss round against the multiple fighters the block causes you to square off to the NEAREST opponent.
i can see the possibilities: subzero freezes one soldier and attacks another. if they close in too much an ice shaker can immobilize 2 or 3 of them.
a slowly increasing lifebar (the same way as an impale decreases) can emphasize the "undefeatable" aspect of the army, and encourage you to pick them off one at a time.
its also a spinoff of the popular endurance match.
