Personally i don't think it should be any of those. I think the sub boss for each character should be the character they have the biggest rivalry with. And for the minor characters who don't really have big rivals (or any at all like Stryker for instance..) Should be a random fighter.

i personally think the sub-boss should be either
- Their nemesis
- A random boss from all MK's... Shang tsung, Goro, Kintaro, Shao Kahn, Motaro, Shinnok, Quan Chi, Onaga, Moloch, Noob, Smoke, maybe Drahmin

I think that there won't be no Sub Boss..........
but if i have to choose, i will say the biggest Rival for exapmle Shao Kahn for Rain etc...

TomTaz makes a good point on the sub-bosses being the rivals/arch enemies, but there is still the possibility that it could be Onaga or motaro.
(I doubt that they were delayed to show until august cause they wern't finished maybe Boon has somthing else instored for them)

I think it'll be either Goro, Kintaro, Sheeva, Motaro, Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn or Quan Chi. Maybe even Shinnok or, dare I say it, Noob-Smoke.

I have a strong feeling that it will be Motaro. Motaro needs someone to ally with, since Kahn now favours the Shokan again.

I don't think they should have a sub-boss. It won't work cuz they said that you can play as everyone from previous games and it would be stupid to make someone new in the last game. Sub-bosses don't serve much of a purpose cuz their purpose is to stop people but w/ 60 characters, someone will be able to beat them. Should there be a sub-boss, NO!

Noob-Smoke was a sub-boss, and they are both old characters. They were also playable. I don't see why it can't be the same.

Well this particular thing wouldn't be at all difficult to do.. so I don't see where laziness would come in as a factor. However you could still be right.

......maybe it should be the "normal" Blaze before he gets buff, an then when he gets buff we get to see sum cool scene or something

well good idea man, It will be like Tekken3, when you beat Ogre, he will then transform into True Ogre ( altough True ogre was easier)

I really like that Idea! The sub-boss could be normal blaze. And he'd be kinda weak, and you'd fight him at the base of the pyramid. Then, once you beat him, he gets pissed, transforms into Uber-Blaze, and jumps onto the pyramid.

I believe that there will be a sub boss that is new. If not new, then it will definitely be Motaro. I think he deserves it anyway.
