Sub-Zero has been taken back to his roots, what do you think?

Has anyone ever thought the possibility that ummm, both brothers are HALF. The current one being mixed, while the original pure chinese? hmmmm love the assumptions lol then again this is MKO...
Yeah lol, gotta love those "Anime characters" that look anything but Japanese and all have the same dumb look on their faces lol

Yeah, it is pretty brilliant, considering that the character started off Asian. It's idiotic that his race was later changed, if it even was at all. Considering the way things have been handled over the course of the series, Sub Zero may have always been intended to be Asian/Chinese
Sort of like how a large number of Anime Characters have blonde hair and Blue eyes despite the fact they're supposed to be Japanese. Now THAT'S Brilliance at t's finest.

Personally, I never cared about Sub-Zero's supposed race switch since Daniel Pesina, Sub-Zero's original motion actor, was clearly NOT Chinese. I remember the first time I saw that MK2 ending pic I actually started laughing because that was obviously not the same guy.
As for the new render...he doesn't look that Asian to me.

lol.
I don't think there is anything that clearly gives away ethnicity in this picture. Either way it makes no difference. When it comes to Mortal Kombat, their birth place is no longer identified as America or China, but by Earth Realm or Outworld.
And hey, since his amulet has the power to make him older, maybe it has the power to make him Asian again.

I'm not saying ethincity is important i'm just commenting on the fact that they have taken him back to his asian roots.

Fact? You need to take an epistemology class.

If you think about this is just yet another thing that's ultimately trivial lol, like the '"render with Bats without his scar" now his official render has the scar....Midway must have rolled their eyes at the reaction to the first render lol.
But like I said before on the "nationality issue" he can be mixed white and chinese or just white(he doesn't really look asian in that pic)
