Are you talking about how the weapon looks or performs? I have no problem with how it looks - it's just that Sub-Zero's Kori Blade fighting style was very lame, if you ask me. There was only one useful combo. And it would've been cool if the blade had freezing properties like his Ice Scepter in MK4. We'll see if any improvements are made in MKD.

Sub-Zero would look wimpy if he had a little kori sword. Sub-Zero is a skillful man, he needs a nice size blade to match his skill.

And imo, a club is not the most skillful weapon either.
His Kori Blade fits him perfectly imo.

I think that there is no reason he shouldnt have his kori blade. Yes it could use some extra combos but the design is perfect for how an ice sword would look. He wouldnt have an ice toothpick would he? naw I think that the MK team could have only replaced it with an axe but seeing as ermac has the axe they left him with the kori blade. really i dont see why people dont like his kori blade its huge and powerful but elegant at the same time.

Wow, you place that much importance on 1 outfit alone, to change your whole outlook on a character.. Even though everyone knows that everyone character will have 2 alt. outfits or at least 1.

Oh and btw, only the helmet is like Shredder's. The outfit, and mask is not. I don't see how that qualifies one for becoming someone else.

The kori blade fit him well. But the way he used it sucked. The only use I had for it was impaling.

I like Sub-zero i just dont like what they did to him.His alt costumne.Isnt much better he has a ponytail with white hair he looks like a hippie with magical powers what a trip man.

I don't mind the Kori Blade too much, but it just needed better moves/movement. It was really stiff and difficult to use. Then again, I wish they would've brought back his ice staff from MK4/Gold. I liked that weapon.

I think the concept of the kori weapons is great... but I also think the kori blade in MKDA was way too bulky to look practical. I actually think it'd look much cooler if it wasn't so bulky and elaborate. But on the other hand I don't think it's so bad that it puts me off... There's just room for improvement, that's all.

The Kori Blade in MK:DA looked cool but was to slow and didn't have enough useful combos imo. This could just be me, but in the most recent screen shot of Sub-Zero slashing Noob Saibot the Kori Blade while it still looks similar to what it did in MK:DA it seems to have been taken down a notch in size. It seems thinner imo and i'm hoping that they've made him faster with it and given him some better combos then what we saw in MK:DA. If he has the same excat combos in MK:D i'm going to be pissed. A character like Sub-Zero, him being one of the characters that defines MK should have a better weapon then what he was given. I hope the MK team has realized this.

SWEEP.

When and only when he had his Kori Blade out could you sweep the opponent. Sweeping is a good move because it's so fast and No one expects it. And you can't block it unless you knew it was coming. And EVEN THEN, you'd have to duck and block or you'd still get swept.

The Kori Blade is sweet. What it lacks in combos, it makes up for in sheer power. Sub-Zero is aging, he's not the acrobatic ninja he once was, he needs to be a hard hitter who has slowed down a bit. The Kori Blade is that in a nutshell. And Sub's new outfit rules.

I think Sub-Zero has the same fighting styles too

Staying on topic though, I hope Sub's fighting styles are relatively the same, he was tough to learn, but once you got the hang of it, he was unstoppable.
