The scar is a mark of death, because Sub-Zero left the Lin Kuei. Now, he is the Grand Master of Lin Kuei, this mark is no more (the rare thing is that still it had it in the MKDA, although it had perhaps not been able to clear)

The medallion of the dragon increases the biological rate of that has it, which towards since in the MKDA it saw older, and if it has spent enough time and it has had to use much of the power of medallion, is normal that it is seen more aged of which really is.

And, the cover look, is based in the ceremonial mask of the Samurais, just as Shredder.

Yea that sub zero outfit actually looks cool, well (at least when i see it on your avatars, that mask looks great, but the avatar looks better than the in game mask, i wish he would have his MKDA outfit still, but with that new mask that he has now, i like the mask better once again(for ppl that think its ugly look at th avatar one instead, looks slighty better, and they should have the MKDA outfit though.

i think the new sub suit is a rip off of scorpions mkda suit... he looks like a damn samerai... i really loved the mkda alterate costume though.. but sub is a ninja not a samerai, n the wut the hell is wit the animal coat... theres no pimps or gangsters in mk!!! lol

I dont like Sub-Zero's new outfit, there was nothing wrong with original, why fix something thats not broke?

Subzero's new outfit is awesome in my opinion. But i'm not that impressed with his hair being tied at the back.

i think the masked look changes alot because from what i see subzero is no longer a ninga..
and with smoke as a robot and ermac has changed so much..and up till now there is no sight of rain

I think both Sub-Zero designs, like all character designs shown so far, are among the best in the entire series. While I'm not sure how much sense it makes for a caucasian Chinese ninja to wear a samurai helmet, it sure looks bad ass. I think the other design, with the ponytail, looks just as great, if not even better.

I'm kinda freaked out. Sub-Zero (from MK3, DA, and now Deception) seems to be aging like crazy. His hairs gone from jet black to graying to just white (and bald!, with the pony tail exception.) And, yeah, where did his scar go? I'm really confused as to which Subby he is, what's going on, yadda yadda yadda. But, I think his "shredder" alt costume is sweet. I mean, c'mon. Isn't shreddin' a nice term to describe him, anyway? Fatality.

the mask kicks ass but nothing looks better then the MKDA subby alter. outfit and no thats the same subby they didnt make the scar yet, they did that for mk4 and MKDA , they dont put the scar in yet to wayy later on. so yea its the same sub well i hope he dies he cant get any older and the younger sub will probably take over in mk7

I can't believe some of you people! We haven't even seen a full, CLEAR body shot of Sub-Zero yet. All we've seen are some fast moving, rough shots of them in the game. His costume may own everybody else's in the entire game. Your judging the whole thing from his mask, how stupid and one-sided! Not to mention his alternate outfit that we've barely seen. You know how many characters in MK have had long hair? The people that are mad are probably the ones that thought Sub was the best ninja in MK(I disagree, it's Noob obviously), it's about time he got a brand new makeover.

Hmmm....ditch the fur (not like he needs to keep warm afterall) and the three prongs on the helm that make him *too* shredder-like, and the outfit is perfect. The Chainmail coif was a great idea!

Give him some hair on the top of his head, (the ponytail isn't bad at all) it just seems odd with no other hair on his head.

I'm hoping the helm can be knocked off, but who knows? Cool stuff so far, lots of great news IMO.

They need to re-emphasize the helmet dynamics since they are position in such a way in his stance that he looks stupid.
