And all the gore will be taken out just like SNES mk1. The fatalitities replaced with babalities and friendships. The stage fatalities replaced with fluffy pillows and little puppies.
The hari kiri (sp?) replaced with crying in front of your opponent to end the match. The blood replaced with spit. The fighting changed to hugs and kisses for your opponent. Whoever gets hugged and kissed the most in their lifebar loses. Ying Yang island snakes will be replaced with stuffed animal snakes.

GC may get something really nice.Im happy GC owners are getting MKD.

They won't add a new character or a stage, I can tell you that.
They won't leave something that game altering out of the game.
I'm betting it will be a slew of little things, like concept art, maybe some option changes.

I am guessing that the Gamecube version will have a whole bunch of extra characters in it that won't be featured in the Playstation 2 and Xbox version of the game.
We might see characters like Sonya, Cage, Jax, Kung Lao, Rain, and a whole bunch of new characters that would be included.
We might see afew extra stages included in the Gamecube version of this game. There would be more biographys on the characters and may also feature a comic book to view for your own pleasure.
I think all of these should be included because Mortal Kombat fans who own a Gamecube deserve all of these features for waiting untill 2005 to play it.

And the gamecube version of Deadly Alliance was exactly the same as the others. Except crisper graphics than the PS and not as crisp graphics as the X-Box. Id say it would be no different. The gamecube isn't a kids console. Its a party console made for people who want to play against many friends. Its an awesome console and people don't get it because its games are usually PG.

I'm pretty sure Noob and Smoke will be seperate characters for the GC.

I laughed my ass off when I read the above post saying the GC version could have a character or two. But when I saw yours... Jesus. Exclusive comic book and bios? Exclusive Stages? A whole bunch of extra characters?

I think itt will be like MK4 $ MK:Gold. MK4 was for N64 + PS. Then later on they made Gold Which was exclusive for Dreamcast and had 4 extra characters. UMK3 had about 6 extra characters or something like that... Gold had about 6 too... but the fact that the Strategy guide came out so fast makes me think that maybe they'll have only asier super unlockeables or something like that... or maybe they planned the GC release a while before they annouinced it and had already decided what extras to put,.. Ior maybe the strategy guide is incomplete...

Really mayn, The Gamecube is a raw ass system anywayz. Mario may look silly, but them games are challenging and there fun as hell

@scorpionrox.... so sad that you still feel that way after two games for SNES come out with no blood (MK1 and Wolfenstein).
LET IT GO. I still enjoyed the SNES version over the Genesis cuase the control seemed a lot better and Raidens fatality was actually better in it.
NES games had blood in em (Ninja Gaiden 2 and a few others) SNES games did, N64 games had tons, Gamecube has tons.
So stop complaining about something that happend when you were likely about 4 (and if you're still complaining about it and are legally an adult, you have some catching up to do. I'm sorry they hurt your feelings.)
I haven't heard anyone complainging about the dancing and singing games the originated on PS2 and stuff like that. No blood in those... unless you're a really bad dancer.
