I think it will have the special edition things for the Xbox and PS2, without having to get a special edition for the GC. They'll just come with it.

What you people can't reach is that GameCube is getting mortal kombat DECEPTION. Not Ultimate Mortal Kombat Deception, not Super Turbo MK Deception, and not MKD: Gold. It's the same game. Don't compare it to UMK3 and MKG, those were diferent games then MK3 and MK4.

Whats so special about GC is that since GC owners have to wait until Jan. 15 (tentive date) to get Deception, it better be worth the wait. Now being a PS2 and GC owner, I think i'll wait to get it because 1 I have MKDA for GC, 2 I'm not even gonna use the online feature, and 3 no matter what extras the GC version will have, it'll be better than the other two for me that is. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not too hot for the online play.

Friendly Reminder, but Smaller Disc (cube discs) = Less Data. No doubt they'll add something to make it game specific, but if they're not dropping resolution on textures, or trimming down model polys, they'll have to cut down data somewhere.
It'll probably be a built in bios with komentary (like the special editions for $10 more, presently), and probably a making of video.
For some reason I don't see the GC version of this being all that more fancy, due to disc limitations, but that's just me.

I could be wrong, but I don't remember them saying that they used up all the space on the other disks. Also, they could seperate the art and stuff and put that on a seperate disk to clear up space for new characters. Unlikely, but who knows. I bet they'll compress the FMV in the game to save a shitload of space, they usually do with GCN.

They could split the game into 2 disc. One for the actual game, the other for Chess, Puzzle and Konquest.

well to tell you the truth, i don't think they will make anything new for the gamecube version, why somebody would make something better for the console, that sales less units, even x-box sales more.
or maybe nintendo could pay, as the did with the resident evil series

I really hope they get one arena or something because any other character or something would suck! Im afraid they would put rain or someone in..
