What do you mean Stromninja?

My foray into the super unlockable discussion is this, and if someone has already mentioned this I apologize.
When fighting shang tsung in netherealm there is no audio for "Shang Tsung wins" like the normal characters. I do believe there is audio for Quan Chi wins, and I'll have to go back and check. Honestly it seems to me that the characters with the announcer saying their name are the ones who are playable in some form or another.

ok reading this forum is gettin ridiulious. I mean some of these kids need there parents to put parental control lol. I mean this is my first post but i know that posting crap is annoying. So why must i read through this unhelpful crap. I just want to figure out how to get su's i know there has to be atleast one. My first thought would be Dragon King. So please i dont mind reading theories because everyone can help each other out. But i shouldn't have to read about some kid asking how to unlock the basic characters. Admins do your job.

I see what you're saying Stormninja. There is a repeating pattern of an L1 symbol and a triangle along the circular border of The Nexus. You may be on to something. Although I have the Xbox version and it is still an L1 and a triangle. The Xbox controller has neither of these.

OK here is some Ideas i have for some keyz to SUs. Ive seen the fujin and stryker in the clouds on the main menu screen. if fujin is a SU GREAT if stryker is I dont care coz stryker is a f*ckin lame ass loser. ok to my ideas
1.If anyone has done Fujins mission in the orderrealm where he asks you to get his book if you talk to him after that he says he will see you in earthrealm. I looked for him but did not find him there so maybe you have to unlock him in the earthrealm.
2.Has anyone else noticed that in the Netherrealm those 2 fighter only appear at 7 somethin PM and disappear at 10 Pm exactly i have no idead about that maybe you can find a way to make a bridge or something to them.
3. If you talk to some girl in earthrealm she says something about shang tsung's lost island and you not wanting to go there yet. And there are 2 boats in the earthrealm maybe there is a way to get the island.
4. The monk temple in the village. Nuff said.
5. Has anyone completely beat Konquest ?100% all side quests and everything?I know i havent.

the SUs are obviously Stryker and Fujin. I mean come on, their names are on the main page. It must have something to do with the bring down shao kahn quest.

I have a theory regarding Onaga, I do not believe he will be unlockable, but I do believe he will be legitamately playable. I can't remember if it was MK3, UMK3 or MKTrilogy, or all of them, but there was a code that allowed you to play as Motaro and Shao Kahn. They had all of the moves that they used against you (even Kahn's taunt) but no fatalities and no ending. I think that there may be a code, perhaps the 1right 2 left 3 up 4 down bl code that everyone is talking about to allow you to play as him, but you will probably have to use it everytime. Just my thoughts on the matter.

People talking about Stryker and Fujins name sin the clouds, they are NOT unlockables, midway already said their names were just written there as an easter egg not as a clue!
Also before someone else says it the people who speak backwards don't give any clues either, everyones already been over that, they're yet more easter eggs, as are the people that run around in the Krypt and the people that appear in the prison arena!

The Motara as an unlockable is now a well proven fake, a lot of people have now completed all the criteria that it claims is required and got nothing for it!
Also it has aparently been confirmed recently that you cannot reenter the village and you won't need to either as if there is anything you miss in the village it should be found elsewhere in Earthrealm AFTER you've completed the rest of Konquest!
The puzzle kombat characters in arcade mode are a possibility i've heard theories by people who've hacked it, but be carefull with pictures of that quality, could be faked or very old, or hacked ,etc!
Also those folks talking about Liu Kang and Raiden not being super unlockables because they're not secret enough!........ Why do super unlockables HAVE to be a secret? I mean, the only reason people say they're the super unlockables is because aparently Iguides or some strategy guide released info on how to unlock everyone except two fighters and ALSO didn't explain how to unlock Raiden and Liu kang, could well be that these two are the Super unlockables that the strategy guides are talking about! Though in fairness we hav eall been led to believe there are OTHER unlockables, in honesty teh term "Super unlockable" irritates me, don't see why theyd eserve a new title, rather than just "Secret", Blaze and Mokap weren't "super unlockables!" Urgh! Anyway!
Well that's all the information i've gathered so far! *sigh!* Don't even have the game yet! (In England!)
How many people have seen the Question marks in Konquest? If you have seen one hav eyou noted the date, time or location? I have a feeling the question marks are hints that something WOULD have appeared at that point if you'd met previous criteria! Could be wrong but it's a theory right!

I know this sounds dumb, but I think Shujinko might be one of the super unlockables. I know he is on the select screen but in order to get him fully playable you have to do a lot more unlocking than you ever had to in any MK game. I hope I am wrong, but the more I read the more I think I am right.
Is it possible that the unlockables are going to be released through an online thing? I mean both the PS2 and Xbox version could download an update that gets saved to your profile. Just another thought.
There may be a few more unlocks in the konquest mode, but I think the rest are old school do something in the game at a certain time, so a certain button combo in a certain puzzle fighter stage for example.

when i first played konquest mode on one of the first missions i got this weird glitch. i talked to the one kid on the final Bo Rai Cho training mission in the village then the game screwed up and i was outside the village. i can no way get back into the village nor am i in another realm. all im in is this blue area that i can walk on. everywhere is blue in the daytime and changes during evening and nighttime. it also says -1. it could be just some dumb glitch that was overlooked but i still have the profile that i had it on saved for some reason.

Ok, i know this sounds a little far fetched, but for some reason i think this game is somehow related to the older games. Just like the characters, the stages...they obviously wanted to blend in the two. Now, something that strikes me....when u first turn the game on, for like 10-15 seconds it shows a picture of the dragon (at least on the X-Box version), its like a coin with an orange background and a black dragon. For some reason, i cant shake the feeling that maybe there is a code input at this point?? I have even tried the old DULLARD code (for all u old schoolers and there is no way to try ABACABB....so im not sure what else to do. Please dont flame me for my thoughts, because they claim to be nothing more than just that, thoughts. Thanks!

Has anyone tried the classic uppercut at the Portal stage, in a vain attempt to get Dan "Toasty!!" Forden to appear, so we can press down+start? "Ow-ma" is back, why not this?

Tetra I was thinking along the same lines, but someone correct if I am wrong but I don't think they have ever duplicated a secret. They have done similiar things but not exactly the same.
On a seperate note since they are bringing back all the old school levels would be cool to bring back the level in MK2 with the spikes on the celieng where you could knock your oppenent into it and then if you held down they slid off. Would be cool to see that rendered in 3D :)

Yeah, the Kombat tomb. They need more classic levels. Why the hell are the destiny towers in the Portal stage?

It obviously wouldn't be the same secret, just a nostalgic way of getting to a new one/ modified old one(Noob-SMOKE)

Anagram of Ed Boon! Now, for that very reason, could easily be a fake, when i found this thread there were no replies to it and some are starting to roll in now, but the basic premise is this, has any one tried completing Konquest by completing ONLY the good missions or ONLY the bad missions? Could easily be a fake but for you lot who have already got the game it could be your head start to glory!

Which means only 2 StfU's, one Good(only good missions, duh), and one Evil(only evil missions). Sounds pretty disappointing. I hope to hell we get some half-decent secrets this time around.

Well let's not make any assumptions about WHAT is unlocked only that this is a possible way to unlock SOMETHING! Could be both routes unlock the same thing, could be each route opens a set of things or that individual things are unlcoked at different stages! WHo knows right, it's so easily up to interpretation it's not worth guessing!
But could be worth finding out me thinks!

I hope there's more Chess/Puzzle Kombat kontent. I hope they don't focus "secret" kontent on just the Kombat mode. I rather enjoy Chess and Puzzle Kombat. Plus I've unlocked everything obvious, now I feel somewhat empty. I'd like more stages too. I don't expect all, or even any of this. I'd be nice though.
Am I the only one displeased with the Living Forest, both the Stage, and Konquest area?

Hi I'm new here and I don't have MKD because It'll be published next month here in Finland, so I might seem a bit ignorent. I've seen people talk about these question marks, which make Shujinko unconscious, if he takes them. I would just like to ask how many different colors do the question marks have, because I've seen the Kodex and it has those different colored MK symbols, just wondering, if the symbols might represent one of the question marks, and if you collect them all something cool might happen?

in the beginning of the game u get the ? and it knocks u out, when u get up it says dont pick up everything u find. i think this means something

Well someone else said that maybe to do the opposite. I agree, since there are different colors, from what I've heard
