I still think that NoBodE had a point even if it wasn't Ed Boon. I think if you go to the good side you will get 2 characters (from the kodex thread I think chances are Kitana and Fujin or Stryker). I have no idea who the evil side are (unless Kitana is evil due to the fact she is working for the dragon king and possibly Classic Smoke or someone else...)

What is Mileena's alternative costume? I am asking because I've gone to the MK:D website, watched the video for fatalities, and see Mileena performing a fatality on what appears to be Kitana. Also, I see what appears to be Cyrax performing a Hara-Kari. Can anyone confirm this, or am I just seeing what I want to see?

Has anyone beat the arcade and puzzle with every character.......that mite be a way to unlock a SU..................i beat arcade with everyonebut not puzzle .................................. One more thing.......i seen cyrax and nitara in the netherrealm at 2.25.06..................it was the first time i opened the gate in the netherealm, right after i did all the stuff in the village when i restarted konquest........................the only problem is i can't get to them...........i went where moloch is and across the lava they were talking it looked like.......when i went to the bridge to cross ........the guard that was there said no one can pass at this time and i meditated to seee if he would move but he didn't so if someone can help me try to get with them...it might be an unlockable are a useful item are maybe just koins but whatever it is i wanna find out.......
if you are interested in helping..........go through the gates in the netherrealm.......then go to moloch and look across the lava........i was still a young shujinko..it was my first time in the netheresalm since made a new profile and started konquest all over.

i didnt see the katana fatality...but i did see cyrax do a hara kiri....only thing is...that wasnt cyrax...it was hotaru in his alt costume! and he does scorpions neck snap hara kiri...take another look!

i am old an i still see them but i have two profiles an the other one i have complete the conquest and when i walked there they was gone so it most be something but i dont think its an su 1 more thing in the prison stage i have seen reptile whitout his mask so i think hi is in the conquest mode somewhere in the living forest because ed boon say in one of the trailers that if you are in the living forest you can be challenged an maybe get a key

I have some ideas who the super unlockables are. I have modded xbox and I was browsing through the mkd folders on the MK:D disc and I came across some possible unlockable characters. There are .ssf files for each playable characters and the naming for the characters as follows; scorpion.ssf for the original custome, and scorpion_alt.ssf for the alternate custome. I also have found the following names on the folder;
cassius.ssf & cassius_alt.ssf
mkda_kunglao.ssf & mkda_kunglao_alt.ssf
noob.ssf & noob_alt.ssf,
skab.ssf & skab_alt.ssf
There are also separate files for Noob, Some and Noob-Smoke. These characters could be super unlockables, or not.

Kung Lao being in it is very interesting. Akthough, I would hope to see Rain. >< Dammit, hear our plea's Boon. =P
With an updated *original MK ninja fit* altered, and the classic UMK costume aswell.

I doubt Monster is an actual Playable character. He doesn't have a spoken name. I remember early screens of Chess showed Quan Chi and Shang as pieces so they might be playable but I doubt they are a super unlockable.
Also yous don't need a modded Xbox to play as Monster, Onaga. or Ghost just a cheat device like CodeBreaker (not sure if Gameshark or Action Replay have codes to do it) theres also codes to play as noob alone or Smoke alone and a single button fatality codes that have 2 fatalities listed for Noob and Smoke - I was under the impression that it was 1 each.

Ok i am new here so probably my theory might not be taken as seriously as others but here goes anyways.
Everyone else has seemed to go through these complicated scenarios of trying to find the "SU's" But one thing i have noticed in the game not never been discussed through all the threads an messsages i have been through but anways , After playing through Konquest for awhile an being insanely exhausted i chose to take a little break see what else is in this game so i went into kotents an looked at the movies specifically shujinko....Now if anyone else will go watch this bio video i guess u can call it u wil see "teenage shujinko" in edenia talking to kitana. Now the first time going through konquest i never found this suspicious at all because thinking i would run across edenia early on or that kitana is somewhere in earth realm i thought nothing of it ....But then i go back to play konquest an about a hour of playing konquest i ran into someone i believe it was in earth realm if i am not mistaken an someone mentioned a short cut from earth realm into either outworld or anothe realm i cannot specifically remember which one but i am about to go back an play konquest so i will try to figure out where the short leads to from the person .....Now through all the theories of un locking new secrets i believe finding this short of one of the last huge clues if not the very last clut to unlocking the SU's.....
So seeing as i never really followed konquet the way it is supposed to be done i never bothered with much side quests with the exceptions of the ones i was forced to do or could easily do i do hope what i have un covered at least lends a helping hand in anyway in finally figureing all this out.
PS : Has anyone else besides my self whats behind that huge door in the lin kiue (sorry for being misspelled ) camp is for or how to get it to open perhaps that is another piece of the puzzle..hmmm well hopefully thisn lends more insight an puts people willing to try on the right direction my self included to unlocking my secrests well heres hoping.

How not to get them:
Beat Konquest
Beat Konquest without getting any items
Beat Konquest with all items
Going to year 99
Beat the game with all 24 characters
Do everyones fatality and hari-kiri in a gameplay session
Beat Puzzle fighter on Max (with and without profile)
Unlocking the entire krypt
Unlocking the special koffins in order
After beating the game, doing the "evil" quests to shift "good/bad ratio"
50 wins in a row puzzle or kombat
Having an insane amount of wins, arcade finishers in your profile
Entering into every option once
My left over possibilities:
Not picking up the ? icon on the beach in konquest, then returning to pick it up after beating it.

maybe we have already unlocked the super unlockable characters we just need to look for them on the select screen. Naah.
So far the only super unlockables I think there are are the following: Rest of the characters as puzzle characters, puzzle kombat characters fight in arcade, at most 6 secret characters, alternate costumes for chess kombat, and maybe some other stuff.

well i posted this in the other SU forum before noticing the main forum for it. so like i said in that one legendary characters so secret its gonna make up jump for joy i would eliminate some. sung, quan chi,kunglao, kano,sonya, jonny cage...they were all in MKDA so why would they be the spectacular surprsie in deception? i wouldnt say fujin is a legendary character because they you would have to say reiko or tanya are lengendary characters. stryker is a possiblity thou personally i thought he was lame. Jax was in MK2 but also in MKDA the one character that goes back the farthest that has not been remade into the 3D realm would be sheeva. she was in MK2 right? or was she first shown in 3....its been a while guys. lol. but if im not mistaken she is also the only female not rendered in 3D. also dont forget bosses are lengendary also. Kintaro and Motaro were huge and i think making them playable and with fatalites and moves would be a hot addition. only make them less bulky so they dont move slow like all subbosses do. If im not mistaken i dont think human smoke was placed in 3D although there is the new smoke with noob. Khameleon would be good along with rain. I would have to say my top two possiblities would be stryker and sheeva with back-ups as kintaro,motaro,human smoke,and khameleon.

I think many of the MK:DA characters are in there as unlockable, somehow, but, true to form, we can always hope against all logical, probable, and sensible hope that Rain, Fujin, or Shao Kahn are unlockables. But, as long as Stryker and Hsu Hao remain in the shadows, that's fine by me. Fatality.

Do you think it's possible that when Ed Boon said there were more than 24 characters in the game, he was simply referring to the characters you fight in Konquest, but don't actually get to play as? They are technically in the game.

The ? gives you the same thing if you go back after konquest... just some koins
Anyone try beating konquest on Max difficulty? I tried but I couldn't get past Ashrah... and then I thought about facing scorp in the nexus *shudder*
might unlock something, or have an extra mission or two you never know
I guess everyone will just wait till after fight night like me to see what Boon and Co. have to say though....

How about this..I think the only remaining legendary character that would really make me "jump for joy" would be the floating Shang Tsung from MK 1. The old warrior floating around in 3-D throwing flaming skulls. He would be more legendary than any other Kombatant..Now that would be some S**t

Now I don't know if it's right or not tho... so don't get mad and all stuff if I'm wrong.
About a week or two ago, I was checkin out gamespot.com, in the mk:d section, I clicked on cheats and then I saw somethin named "super unlockable" and the first cheat was motaro, I saw it with my own eyes tho.
So it said, that you have to play the "arcade mode" on hard or hardest without losing even once and when u finished it, u should get back to the arcade mode and then select scorpion but don't choose him, hold up, and a button combination that I don't remembr no longer. And then hold it until the fight begins... then you'll be playing with motaro.
Thee days afterwards, the cheat was disappeared.
I don't have mk:d yet, it's not because I don't have the money or something like that... it's just that I'm living in Europe and it ain't out yet down here... these guys are fuckin pour, so I won't be able to try it till next month.
ps. this cheat was only in the ps2 section

we never know who are the super unlockable until december. Remember that this informations are top secret because in Europe ( like France for MK MISTIFICATION ) this game is not coming yet. And i think we could wait Dead or ALive ultimate for xbox. This games are in competition
