Doesn't make much sense that when they are falling off a platform, like sub and batman do in the trailer, that he would come crashing down as well.

Some people seem to have been illogically disarmed by the unfamiliar. It's not like characters like Raiden or Shinnok haven't required suspension of disbelief in previous games, let alone a Sub-Zero or a Scorpion, who could just as easily end a fight straight away with a lethal dose of ice or fire.

Superman characteristically walks, so contrary to pupular MUGEN sprites, I'd stick with that. It's simpler from a technical stand point (sweep kicks, etc) and makes perfect sense. Which should confuse the cross-eyed masses even less.
