Skull point right there. Relax and don't go yelling and swearing at everyone
What are you talking about? I wasn't yellin', nor was I swearin'. I simply said that he's not going to find it, and that it does not exist.
And that little bit about the Dead Pool stage where the skeletons keep coming, that's not a survival mode. They will only keep coming until you hit all of the bodies on all of the hooks. But if you're just going through the stage for the first time, the stage will locked on both sides, and you're in the middle of it with no way out. Then the bodies will keep rising out of the floor until you fill all the hooks up. But if you don't wanna do that, then yeah, you can have fun with it and just keep beatin' up motherfuckers and doing fatalities all day long. But if you beat the stage once and save it, it won't happen any more. If you exit the stage after you beat it and go back into it, the stage won't be locked, but about 8 bodies will appear four at a time, and the hooks will have returned upon re-enterance. That is NOT survival mode, especially with how easy it is to beat these skeletons down. But it is a good place to practice all your fatality and brutality moves.

I can see how you're relating that to a Survival-type area, since a lot of people use the Deadpool to build up their EXP by combo-counting the crap out of the zombies. For example...

No, I deleted it because he was just spewing the same thoughts in both of his messages; however, I saw nothing Skull-worthy in either of his posts. Anyway, back on the discussion about Survival Mode.

Hey Everyone!
IF THE
question to "where is SURVIVAL[túlélősdi] Mode" is:
the 5th Smoke-mission: the scene [helyszín] is : The Pit II.
However: I have a question [kérés]: haven't you guys ever read the "Walk-Through" [végigjátszás] or F.A.Q.s???
now I'll be remebered to be the young-man from Hungary, who solved the case.
Man for all that fuss.
All Heil to Walpurgis [kitartás, éljen Szálasi!!]

maybe it can be clarified at the next fight night.
along with some other things that people need to know so some can STFU
-are there super unlockable chars other than the 24 in MKD? y/n
-can you get back into the village in konquest mode?
-where is the green key in konquest
-what is the ninja star used for
-why doesnt scorp have 3 fatalities in MKSM like everybody else?
-why cant midway ever seem to 100% finish a game with all kontent the "WANTED" to put in
personally, I think all MKD related shit is over, we have found all there is too find. but it needs to be confirmed, just like how TONY GOSKIE confirmed that there was no MKDA final secret in a video that was released on this website featuring MKO and the mk team

I think most of those were explained by John Vogel once (if I'm remembering correctly) with "we didn't have enough time" or something similar. The Konquest mysteries were definitely raised, though.

The fifth Smoke Mission isn't it, unless you need to perform something specific there... perhaps to open the door on the far right?

That's the portal that leads you to Survival Mode. sektor_rulz and I discovered it a few minutes ago. I tried to take a snap of Survival Mode itself, but my camera couldn't take a clear shot of the television because of those black, scrolling lines (and it decides to happen when we discover it), so that portal one is the best I have for visual proof. Okay, here's the explanation.
First, you need to obtain the big axe used to smash the two crystals in the Foundry (in order to reach Kahn's Arena). Go to the first area of the Foundry, and enter the large cavern with the lava flow that could be entered by breaking down the planked wall, there was a Red Koin in there. Hop into the lava once, damaging yourself, then hop out. This is strangely necessary for some reason.
Now, keeping the axe the whole time, you need to break the six barrels in a specific order with the "O" button or the equivalent of such for XBox ("B", I think). This is where it gets strange and unexplainable... sektor_rulz and I realized that the order you must break them possibly changes with each visit to the area, making it very difficult, assumedly. The order I broke them in was... the one on the lowest level, at the end of the path with fire coming from ground grills. Then, on the top level after climbing the ramp, turn left and follow the cliff to two barrels, I broke the right one, leaving the left one. Then, in the little alcove with the dual weapons, I broke the right one, again, leaving the left one. I then returned to other left one and broke it, then returned to the second left one and broke that, making a total of five broken now. The last is behind the falling pillars on the top level.
After breaking the barrels in the correct order (again, sorry for not knowing the actual order, unless mine was correct, I'm pretty sure it alters each time) a green glow as shown in the image appears where the first set of two barrels were. Standing in it and pressing R2 to Interact ("Black" is the XBox equivalent, I think) transports you to the Lung Hai Temple arena (I think that's the name of it) where "Survival Mode" appears with "Level 1". Baraka and a few Tarkatan will be facing you. I haven't played into it a lot, but you keep the big axe for as long as it lasts, and Tarkatans are replaced with Masked Guards as you kill them, which stops until you're facing Baraka alone. That's assumedly the end of the first level. Also of note, the map in the paused menu is of the Netherrealm, probably a glitch of Survival Mode.
I hope you all have luck locating it, it was back-breaking for us. Good luck!
Edit: It seems that maybe the order you break the barrels isn't actually a factor. Apparently, you may just need to break them all then "strike" the ground. Anyway, sektor_rulz is looking into it, so I'll re-edit with the factual information.
Edit-Edit: Here's some coolish information regarding Survival Mode: I reached Level 9 (which was near impossible for me, explanations to come) so now sektor_rulz is taking over with the aide of a cheat disc, to see how far it actually goes. Survival Mode seems to contradict itself, since when you die, you respawn at the beginning of the level you lost... strange, that. Here's a run-through of the first nine levels (not sure if I've remembered the order of them correctly):
Level 1: Baraka and some Tarkatan await you at the Wu Shi Academy. Masked Guards also drop in to join the action.
Level 2: An oriental-styled arena is the setting, Demon Archers, Generals and basically anything Demon are the enemy.
Level 3: The very beginning, Goro's Lair, against two Oni Warlords and a swarm of Oni.
Level 4: The original Pit area where you versed an Oni Warlord. Reptile and some Bloody Skeleton's don't pose too much of a threat.
Level 5: Back in the Foundry, fighting an Orochi Hellbeast and Inferno Scorpion. Make that... two Orochi Hellbeasts. Make that... three Orochi Hellbeasts!
Level 6: The Wasteland area where you fought an Oni Warlord, this time against Kano and some Black Dragon Merc's. Kano's considerably more difficult fighting him alone.
Level 7: The Living Forest, against Clay Soldiers and Brothers of Shadow. Thank goodness there's a living tree here ready to gobble some of them up.
Level 8: Oh, God no! Kahn's Arena, featuring Goro and Kintaro.
Level 9: As far as I got... the Warrior Shrine, facing off against Ermac, Reptile, Scorpion and Sub-Zero. You basically can't stand somewhere longer than a millisecond during this fight.
Edit-Edit-Edit: Thanks to ]{'s video and proper explanation of entering Survival Mode, we can clarify that striking the ground is essential. The order of the barrels seem to be the same for each game and each visit to the area, since ]{'s strategy works for me and others. Also, there's only nine levels! Bit disappointed there, but it's still an awesome feature, and the fact that it took us this long makes it even better. And that's about it.

I'll be taking pictures of it shortly...

Well, I proclaimed this morning that I'd give whoever gave the information that lead to the discovery of Survival Mode 10 DPs, as well as whoever found it. Since Virgil was the first to indicate that it was in the Foundry, and since Goroliath and sektor_rulz both actually found it with descriptions and pictures, I've given them all 10 DPs.
Virgil, I apologise for doubting you about the location of Survival Mode.

Very cool but one problem, after you get past Level 3 and it is loading Level 4, the game sometimes freezes with 100% loading bar.
It's not just me, some of my friend on Kamidogu have had this problem too ...
But still very cool, I love the new backgrounds.
