That is an unbelievable find guys. Who would think to do that stuff to find survival mode? I got to level 8 and kintaro grabbed goro then my game froze.

on XBOX i get to level 4 loading screen and the game freezes but still awsome find dudes! also on level 2 there is a medium health on the bottom left, you can access it by wall bouncing your way up.

The Forest is tough, as well as the black dragons. My game froze because I was using an enemy as a human shield when I died.

I found it and I finished it...level9was pretty hard! The %meter goes up to 10 or 12% I dont remember actrually. Nothing unlocked or something..thats bad....

I've completed it on my PAL PS2.
It does work on PAL.
It adds around 10% to your completion level.
You can do it as many times as you like, so once you have completed it you can re-access it.
Only two new arenas involved: The Wu Shi Academy level from MK:DA and another level that looks a bit like a re-done version of this arena:

Any pointers for the final level? I can defeat reptile, but that's it,. Yes I know about the hidden health.

You actualy have to strategise, and the rest is luck.

Choose out one of them to take out first. Ermac since his moves tend to never miss, and hit you no matter where he is. Sub-zero is very annoying with his constant freezes. Scorpion and reptile pose no real threat. The battle actualy doesn't seem at all easier once reptile is out, slightly easier once scorpion is out.

If you can kill sub-zero or Emac first, the rest of the battle will be much easier, though it's hard to actualy choose who you're going to attack.. as your probably going to get raped before you get the chance.

It took me about 10 tries, I beat it with Liu Kang.

i beat it on the ps2 at my friends last night, so i am happy but would still like to play through when i want

Ive tried it like 30 times and I just now beat it and my God that was hard. I am never doing that again it is way to stressfull.

If you use block, makes the game a lot easier

I just did the code and found that u dont have to use (O attack) on all the barrows. I broke the 4th and 5th barrows using (square attack) and (triangle attack) and the code still worked.

I accidentally missed the last barrel, and smashed the axe on the ground, and ended up opening up the mode anyway, so it's not even about smashing the barrels, or at least not all of them. Hmm...

i did it without destroying the barrels separately

I did that too. Except i broke the barrow and opened it up the same time. I didnt even have to charge the swing either.

Update:

I just did this

Old combination: Lava jump, bottom barrel, top right barrel, Nitara right barrel, smashers barrel (square attack), Nitara left barrel

I skipped the Nitara left barrel and went straight to the last barrel and when i hit it (using O) the sparks came up. I only swung it only one time and I broke the barrel AND made the sparks come up.

Do i get dps for that? lol That was a rhetorical question

can i get the axe if im ready to fight kahn and those other guys like near where kano is? Just wondering because i cant find the axe anymore. IM me the answer or something.
