Now firstly I have no intention on starting a fanboy war here so let's just keep with the topic alright. Well what I'd like to know is since Midway is planning on using the systems to their advantages do you think that this means that some systems will have content missing from them ue to smaller disc space for example Xbox has the largest game capacity and Gamecube has the smallest. What are your opinions?

I don't think things like characters, stages, moves or fatalites will suffer from the difference. But maybe there will be different secerts and different things in the krypt.(if its in the next game) The biggest difference will be the graphics and the Xbox will stand out the most. It is the most powerful of the three.

In most games that are made for multiple systems there is gonna be a thing or 2 missing on one version for a system that will be there on another system version, or a thing or 2 that is in a different place like, on the PS2 version, compared to the xBox version or something... I just hope it doesnt go that way with characters, etc... for MK6.
(Off topic) What made me mad is that on the Blade 2 game, I own the PS2 version, and Blade's trenhcoat isn't featured in that version, but it is featured in the xBox version, and don't have an xBox!
Lol.

Yeah I wouldn't mind if there were a few non-essentials from the krypt, but if I get shorted on characters ect. I'm gonna be pissed. Unfortunately I have the smallest disk space for cube 1.6 gig or something I believe :(

Yeah... What will really get me pissed is if they only include Scorpion in the xBox version. Lol.

I think that xbox will have the best looking version of mkda. Also could possibly have the best sound. The ngc will probably have the middle ground version. As for he ps2...well some people say it has the best control of the three so I'm praying for that cause there isnt much else going for the ps2.

I have a PS2 controller converter for my Xbox so there's absolutely nothing that can make me think it won't be the best version. If anybody is interested controller converters, just head on over to your local Ebay and search for "xbox psx" or "gamecube psx". Problem solved. One by one we can form as one and take down those ghetto PS2 owners who always bring up controllers in debates
.

Well being a ps2 owner myself i can say I dont really enjoy the ps2 controllers...I don't like the D pad. I tend to agree tho.. the xbox version will probably be the best one.

The Controller-s(smaller controller)worked well with MKDA.as many people say the Xbox version will stand out.I dont think they will take out charcters.i think when they said they were going to take advantange of each system, meaning they were foucusing on the graphics, and things like that.-DF

I think the xBox version will be the best one )even if I don't have an xBox), PS2 will be second best (I do have a PS2) and GameCube be the third best... Or, first worst. (I don't have a GC, and never want/wanted one neither)
And the PS2 controls are actually pretty easy.

GC to PS2 controller converters don't work on MKDA. Nintendo and Midway got together and sabotaged them. As a nasty side effect, even many 3rd party GC controllers don't work either.
Something to keep in mind, I doubt they will work for MK6 either.

BEFORE YOU READ MY POST THIS IS TRUE AND IS IN NINTENDO POWER.
The gamecube is more powerful than the PS2 and it says it in nintendo power, so gamecube will be second best. And I am not starting a flame war and anyody who gets nintendo power can back me up so there is no reason at all to flame me.
One thing GC is really good at is fog, as in RE remake. I would love to see a very foggy level on the GC version.
As for the storage capacity, remember all of MKDA was fit onto one GC mini disk, pretty amazing. So I doubt that will be a big issue. If anything will be cut, it will be videos in the Krypt. Video take up a ton of space you see.
And let's hope they put Link in the GC version ;)

I just found a site to prove my point http://www.geocities.com/oozer3993/Cube_Hardware.html This site also says gamecube has more memory than PS2.

Yes, and for the record, MKDA looks better on the GC than the PS2. Minor stuff like lighting, dust, and particle effects, but it's there. In fact, the GC version looks the same as the XBox version.

Just like I originally posted...
1. Xbox
2. NGC
3. PS2
Xbox is just a powerhouse machine... it's got very good hardware. NGC has the second best spects followed by the ps2. I'm just looking at things logically and before all the playstation fanboys jump down my throat... I'm a playstation owner.

In defense ot the PS2, it's not unlikely at all that it will be the best version. Why? Because it will be the most popular version. It's like how MKDA was controls were first designed for the default PS2 controller. XBox default controls were a little worse, GC controls were downright horrible.
Rest assured, if the XBox and GC versions are a little prettier, they will work overtime to make sure the PS2 version gets it's own share of goodies.

I think that the only changes between systems if any, will be the extra content from the krypt if they do another one or extras such as music vids and interviews etc, again if they include them, anyway i think they have already stated that the content is the same on all systems they are just going to use the abilities of the systems for the graphics engine, sound, and control.

Those are the most important things though. Those are the reasons I prefer the Arcade version of UMK3 to the console version of MKT. Extra characters and extra content don't interest me. It has to look good and sound good. And if the content is the same for all versions, there's no question the Xbox version will be the best considering they keep their promise and use all systems strengths. The Xbox is the most powerful of the three and if they use it to it's full potential...oh man. If DOA3 is any hint on what a fighting game can look like on the Xbox...

Ha! Controls don't make a better version of a video game, graphics and gameplay do.
