Am not 100% accurate, but I think it's Noob. He seems to be wearing that famous ninja visor (which covers the nose and mouth). His face is black, so it's got to be Noob. If it's Smoke, he's missing his 'misty aura', and we know that smoke has fair skin. Doubt it's Kabal. If it were, he's missing his oxygen tank that's usually strapped on his back. Also, his mask (no matter how modified it would be this time round) is missing the oxygen cables that run from it. Also, if it were Kabal, he's missing his long hair. The character also seems to be wearing a vest akin to those worn by the UMK3 ninjas.

is there any SUPER HARD PROOF? im not saying i dont beilive u but right now i think i belive u like 50%. but w.e its cool. but if thats noob then that means some characters have 3 costumes> right?>

Haven't we already seen pictures of Noob, though? And didn't he look nothing like that picture?

Personally, I think there is some possibility, but as tgrant already stated, it is just one bloke's opinion, who may not even know. I'd put money on the fact that the CEO of Midway does not even know what the flagrant's hat is going on with MK:D, other than the release date and promo campaign.

Personally he is cool no matter who he is. My one question though is: Since he got cut, why is he bleeding red blood and not smoke or whatever.(other than the fact that is not a finished product) If smoke is an elemental where is his smokey blood. Is it possible that it's a light refraction suit, possiblly for the wannabe that starts with a C. I am not trying to start that debate about the wannabe. I am just wondering about the blood issue.

I'm sorry CHSubZero, but to me, I don't buy it. That guy doesn't seem to be 100% sure on himself about that. And besides, in the select screen, one of the blackened out characters had the same shaped head as the guy in that pic you showed here in this thread. Noob Saibot's primary costume is the all black ninja costume so the guy in the pic you posted has to be Smoke. And besides, Smoke has changed quite a bit since the previous MK games in ways that we'll further discover.

I guess I knew all along...

That's definitely not Noob. In the other MKD pics of noob, he has a solid body. And if that pic really isnt smoke then it would seem we're going back to the clones of MK old.

Excuse me, but this "proof" is nothing for me, aside from others things like:

1) Noob is in the left of Ermac in the Select Screen, and Smoke (this fighter) is in the right of Kenshi (and Skab upon the cyberninja)

2) No REAL proof that there are 3 costumes by fighter

I am no expert, but isn't Noob a Specter or Ghost or some crap like that? Look at the picture REALLY close and notice that you can see through the character's body. Not the costume but the body. You can see the wall and the ground through his legs arms. Is this consistant with a ghost or with someone made of smoke???? Just an observation.

Anyway, yes, since that person wasn't from the MK Team I'm going say its Smoke. Yeah, I know. We have a crappy looking Smoke, but we'll have to live with it.

It's probably an alternate costume for Noob Saibot, I think I saw a good picture of Smoke from Mortal Kombat Deception that was more ninja like, if it was Smoke.

That character could be anyone, I hope its Smoke because we haven't seen a pure picture of him, yet I hope its Noob's alt. so each character can have more than 2 alt. But who ever it is, we don't know. It could be Noob, Smoke, the Rock, or King Kong, and the fact is, he hasnt been identified yet. Boon said Smoke was gonna be different from any other game, I'd say this is different. And what do we know about Noob? He's part of the Bros of the Shadow, and what? Giving Noob a look like this or white colored skin, could open up something new. So let's just keep our minds open to this, because this guy could be neither Noob or Smoke but someone new.
