I would rather have Tanya. She could have a better story, and I liked to think of Jade as dead until that prison stage. Maybe the DK's just cloning or resurrecting after all, Jarek did fall of that cliff.

I like the thought of there being another evil female character other than Mileena, so Tanya is by far best in my opinion.
I don't have a problem with her cannon drill move either, seeing that Cammy isn't in MK and all. how many fireball moves are there, and no comparisons to Ryu or Ken?! I also thought that Tanya's storyline was cool, turning out to be really deceptive and evil was a great twist to what appeared to be just another pretty female charcter.
I like Jade, but she has always been a green version of Kitana to me...maybe with a new look and a more intreguing story line, she could be a great character. She should no way have the fans...that would be ridiculous. Her Bo staff would make for interesting playing if she does come back at some point, but i don't miss her enough yet.
So Tanya it must be!

I would like to see background secret characters like Smoke and Jade in MK2..

Jade would be awesome in MK6.. unlock her by fighting her in the classic Goro's Lair.

I would definately want Jade to be in MKD. But i doubt she will be in it. In the prison level, she looks exactly like she did in UMK3. She hasnt been redesigned or "upgraded" on bit. So, as much as i want her in the game, i dont think she will be playable. Shell probably just make an appearance.

tanya is okay, but jade i think is cooler, i always thought she was cool, don't know why, i think she could be a awesome character with a new few physical changes.

Definately Jade. Tanya is a horrible character IMO, just a filler and waste.

IMO jade deserves so much more. I hope one day she returns, and i'd rather pick her anyday instead of tanya.

Jade and Tanya: Kitana Clones?

Jade and Kitana appeared in MK2, where Kitana was playable and Jade was hidden. Jade looked just like Kitana, with moves, weapons and all, but she was faster and sported a green outfit and had tan skin, not to mention the reddish hair.
But Jade's story wasn't clear, since she wasn't playable.
But in UMK3 they both returned, both playable and clear storylines. Jade still looked like Kitana, but she were still tan and had the green version of Kitana's outfit. But she had gotten some new moves, new weapon, the kinetic staff, and even a whole stage, the Desert. Her story was following Kitanas and it ended with Jade staying with her in Edenia. since then, we haven't seen or heard anything about her.

Tanya appeared in MK4 as a new female character. Actually, Kitana was supposed to be in it, but they replaced her with a new character. She had some cool moves, but her looks and outfit was still alike the original female ninja outfit, though with some original details. And she was tan like Jade.
She's also an Edenian, but she betrayed her people and allied with Shinnok.
It's like she reversed what Kitana and Jade did (Worked for Kahn>>>Turned good, Tanya was good>>>turned evil and worked for Shinnok)
But now she's back in MKD and we are still to see, how she looks like and how her story's turning out...

Li Mei and Mileena:
Some say, that Li Mei was supposed to be Mileena, but just like Tanya, they replaced her with a new character: Li Mei.
There are many things Li Mei and Mileena share:
Same coloured outfits.
Same weapons.
Their names are almost the same (I don't know if this is a coincedence).

But Li Mei's moves are almost like MK4's Tanya's...
The same fireball.
Almost the same spinning kick.

But just like Tanya, Li Mei has returned in MKD, and so has Mileena, and it seems that some similarities is replaced...

Anyway, I think MKD is a big help of turning the characters into more original ones...
this problem has also been with the male ninjas, and it turned out well. Theír similarites is gone and they've become original characters. Let us hope the same will happen to the girls!!!

I'm happy they are giving characters like Tanya and Nightwolf a second chance.
It actually looks as if Jade is in MK:D any way.

Well, even though she's with the good guys, I think of her as a tough type (Like Paine in Final Fantasy X-2)...
She's been a deadly assassin her whole life... It MUST affect her someway!!!
