I hope it's a mistake, I hate Sonya. I also think that we would have seen something about her by now, as I wouldn't consider her a character that they would have any reason to keep secret.

Sektor, Reptile, Liu Kang, Shang and Quan I would imagine the most suitable secret characters as they all seem to be part of the immediate story (or a big part of Sub Zero's)and because there is a lot of hype and demand for these characters.

I am not saying there is no demand for Sonya, but she has seen a more games than most of these guys. I know there are a lot of Sonya fans (shocked the hell outta me how many there were when I came on this forum). I'm sure she'll be back in MK7, but her and Jax need a break and story refresher in my opinion.

With a new story, who knows, I may even start to like her.

If she's super-unlockable, sure. Otherwise, no chance.

That's interesting. Hopefully this is truth and she is a super unlockable! I'd be happy if she were playable as would many others! Queve and TomTaz spring to mind!

It would pretty damn wierd if this was how we first got to hear such a thing... but being a huge fan of Sonya, I'm definitely hoping they're right.

I really hope this is a mistake. There are so many other better characters who deserve to be in Deception more than Sonya Blade.

I think they're saving sonya, kunglao, and cage for mk7. Because they're in the next movie and the game will probably use most of the characters from the movie.
