Bad graphics? What the hell Gamecube are you playing? Gamecube has superior graphics to the PS2. System-wise, PS2 is the weakest, Xbox is the strongest.

^The first thing I agree with Wanderer.
PS: I e-mailed Midway asking if it would be released, and the response I got back was something like:
"It's being considered for a US release, but there has been no consideration for a European/PAL release at this stage"
I'm pushing for a PAL release, so if you could post the URL for it again, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Lets see. When MK Deception was first announced , it was for the PS2 and Xbox only. Here on MKonline there was a petition started to help get MK: Deception on Gamecube. The thread that had the gamecube MK: Deception is buried way back in this forums history. Also I Gamecube not having a hard drive has nothing to do with Gamecube( who says MK Deception will be using a hard drive, since it hasn't been annouced that the game will be able to be able to have downloadable content) nor getting Deception, nor does Gamecube technical insides , since Gamecube is the 2nd most powerful console on the market, nor does it have to do with Gamecube's disk storage. The main reasons way MK: Deception isn't coming out on Gamecube is that Gamecube in general doesn't sell that much 3rd party games. Gamecube's user base tend to buy only Nintendo related games like mario, zelda, mario party, metroid, thus 3rd party sales on the system are 3rd compared to Xbox and PS2. Given that information alot of 3rd parties ,including Midway have dropped gamecube support( Midway only has MAT2 planned for gamecube), including MK: Deception. Even though MK: DA sales were more than usual for gamecube. Bottem line is MK: Deception isn't coming to Gamecube since it doesn't have a good install user base, Midway doesn't see strong sales for the system if MK: D were to be realesed for it.

Bad graphics...??? Are you a complete idiot? It's far superior to the PS2's. Have you seen the latest Resident Evil 4 in-game trailer by any chance? The PS2 wouldn't even be able to handle that. Just compare the Gamecube Resident Evils (Remake and Zero) to the PS2's ones - Hahaha!
And NO, i'm not a Nintendo fan boy, I was just highly pissed off with that bullshit remark DBitch made
By the way, I just thought of something interesting that may or may not happen. Does Midway have a surprise in store for Gamecube owners? Maybe it could be that they're gonna release something like Mortal Kombat Platnium that will be Gamecube exclusive and have a few more characters and stages. Think of MK Gold being an upgraded MK4 that was Dreamcast exclusive and MK Tournament Edition that was an upgraded GBA version of MKDA. But I wouldn't know, just a thought.

Any how no way should MKD be on GC because then they have to make its own version just for u guys and that costs money. They would probably have to get rid of some characters make konquest smaller and take out online play for just GC. Resident Evil was mostly on PS until it switched to GC. SO my point is that it doesn't mater if the game was on that console longer can end just that quick.
Anyways, on to the fun:
| REHAB Wrote: Didn't they say no gamecube version because the sales of MKDA weren't as good? XBOX and ps2 versions of the game made all the sales ( or should I say a big percent of the sales ) I had to cover my ass before I get flammed. |
Yes, that is what they claim. Personally, I think it's not coming to GC because of the violent content. Just by adding 1 fatality to each fighter doubles the violence of MK:DA and I think it's too much for Nintendo's 'standards'.
Which would also explain why GC is far behind in the race, tho I give them credit for already talking about a new system, most would have given up by now but they are plannin something pretty serious with this one..

| draconus Wrote: Gamecube is the middle console, so developers give it less attention. Most Gamecube ports feature poor porting and/or come much later than other consoles. THAT'S why most 3rd party games don't sell as well. Because they take us for chumps. And THAT'S why MKDA for the cube sold more than the usual 3rd party fare - simultaneous launch with all the same functionality of the other versions. Identical. |
Ur crazy GC the bottom COnsole Ps2 or Xbox is the middle then the others the top.
