PS2, in terms of graphics and load time is the worst system. Why? Because of the multi-functional disc drive.

Microsoft realised this, and thus put in a HDD for the XBox, which improved the loading time and gave it a much better graphics system.

The 3rd party GC games have been flops for the exact same reason stated above: A lack of a simultaneous release. MK:DA was a relative hit down here for the GC - I was working at KMart when it was released, we were unable to order in anymore copies for about 2 months because the supplier ran out of GC Copies. This has NEVER happened before with a GC game.

The whole issue, imo, is probably to do with politics between Midway and Ninentdo as opposed to anything else. Exactly what, I wouldn't know, but 9/10 that's the way the industry crumbles.

Looks like I'm saving for a XBox....
