As already stated, that's Noob. Skab, as seen in the signature above, looks somewhat different to that.

*NOTE: I DO BELIEVE THERE IS A CHARACTER CALLED SKAB. Two people who I trust in regards to 'inside info' confirmed this, along with many others claiming they had as well (those people being Kel-X and Konqorr). I just think we havn't seen him yet...which if I remember correctly, they stated that we havn't seen him yet as well.



First off...I believe that the pictures of what was once thought to be Skab, is infact Noob Saibot's Main Costume. My evidence is as follows... (please note that these pictures were taken from 3 different videos)







As you will see above, these pictures show the character that was thought to be skab...if you notice the fighting style that he is using, and then have a look at the pic below of the character that we know is Noob, and you will see that they are the SAME STANCE (these pics are from seperate movies released at different times)





Next if you look at the two images below which show both supects (Noobs recognisable costume and the once thought Skab), you will notice there are a few points that make it more and more clear that these two characters are infact Noob;







- FIGHTING STYLES for both characters are the same (that makes 2 DIFFERENT STANCES USED FOR BOTH CHARACTERS SO FAR)
- FACE PIC below life bars are the same for both character models
- NAME is the same for both characters models

NOW I KNOW the first thing people are going to say is that this is an early version, they have not fine tuned the game. Fair enough comment, however...







I'm sure everyone remembers the early pic of Hsu-Hao fighting "Blind Kenshi" seen above...with Hsu-Hao's name reading "Khan". As you will notice with both this pic and the recent pic with ermac and sub-zero fighting (ermac having sub-zero's pic under his life bar) they both have similar early development differences, however one important thing to remember is that THEY ONLY USED THE NAME KHAN AS THEY HAD NOT DECIDED ON A NAME FOR HSU-HAO, they never used another characters name from the same game. And the pic with sub and ermac, it's just the avatar, not the name. I'm sure if they used the same name for two character models while they were creating the game it would cause some confusion...(and that confusion would go a lil' somthin like this)...

"Yo, Pete! can you please bring up that model of Noob on your screen, I wanna make some adj to the design of his mask..."

"Sure ED"

"NO, NOT HIM, not that one, he doesn't even have a face!! ya know, the other guy we're calling Noob at the moment.
Ya know, noob, the guy who used to be all black, oh never mind...hmm, we better give that other ugly skabby guy a name already aye"


SO in conclusion, I will confirm my evidence;

- 2 FIGHTING STYLES used for both character models, in MULTIPLE MOVIES
- same NAME & FACE PIC under both characters life bars, in two parts of one movie
- same FIGHTING STYLE & STANCE for both characters, found in the same movie with the NAME & FACE PIC

Oh, one last thing...if you look very carefully at the following photos, you will notice that noobs costume is almost EXACTLY like the one with the white skin and mask...hmmm, the leg pads, the button type things down the middle, the mask...wow...it's almost like the all black version of him was a TEST MODEL...geeze, now I wonder why we havn't seen any pics of him as the 'all blacked out' version lately...like since the FIRST images of the game was released.

That Zombie creature isn't Noob. For the hundredth time, those demo vids are for testing and promotion only.

Li Mei had Mileena's styles for a brief while, but did Li Mei end up being Mileena? No. Ermac's pic was beneath Subzero's life-bar, but we know there isn't a snowball's chance in hell that they are the same character. Even at this stage in the game, the midway reps said the stances weren't final. Every character stance you see is for testing purposes alone.

The rotting warrior is Skab. If I am wrong, I will equally devide chunks of my kidney among the entire MKD forum.

Temp username...if you actually read what I have written, and REALISE that I am aware that it was a test, however these movies showing both character models with 2 of the same fighting styles, avatar pics AND names are from seperate movies realeased at DIFFERENT times.

Are you trying to tell me that all these things are just a coninsidence??? I think not

I'm not saying it's coincidence, I'm saying it's impossible.

In order for that undead zombie to be Noob, It would mean Noob Saibot would have to have four costumes. I've seen two for Noob, and two costumes for Skab, and Queve confirmed to me that there will be only three per character.

Temp is right about the costume thing. Skab was shown in two different costumes I believe. That would give Noob 4 different costumes, unless they got rid of one. I'm still mad about noob's alt costume.

Where is Skab's alternate costume?

When I asked Konqrr who this character was, he answered saying it was Skab. You can tell it's him by the red lining around cheeks and beneath the eye sockets.

Umm...if I'm not mistaken...isn't that the same costume as the one in the pics I showedof "skab"? You can see a bit of the red vest, the same gloves and boots...?!!?!?!?!?

So that makes it one costume...where is the second?

Ok, ok...I'm going to end this now cuz my intention was not to stat an argument or anything like that. Just to put forward my evidence, which I feel is quite extensive and if you've read it, is quite well written.

I have taken note of this post and if either me or Tempuser name are wrong, then we each have a concequence...
