Well Li Mei hasn't been confirmed as returning. The yes she is/no she's not saga is all down to an image of a female charcter who looks both like Mileena who has been confirmed and Li Mei.
Personally I dont see why they would have her back. She was rubbish, and a Mileena rip off from the word go, and now Mileena is in theres no use for her.

bleh, li mei was a mistake. but it think li mei was mileena in disguise, which leads to another aspect of "deception". boon said the word "deception" in mk6 will have several meannings. i think that is one of them. i think the image everyone is talkin about is sindel's alt costume, if u look closely behind her right leg, i think there is white hair hanging. and i shall repeat my opinion once more- mk is starting to have too many females anyway

as much as I would think it would be stupid to have Li Mei and Mileena in the same game, in the picture, she clearly isn't wearing a mask, and we all know what Mileena would look like without one...

Li Mei and some of the oldies are back. It doesn't get much better then this.

Now give me Nitara and Fujin and we're all set...
