So why is it that they couldn't make Dark Kahn at least resemble Shao Kahn and Darkseid? Why does he have to look totally different and not very scary?

Are there any artists out there that have thought of or created a better version?

You're right. Dark khan looks a little like blaze from armageddon.

Because mixing MK and DCU would be blasphemy.
For a minute, I swore I thought I was looking at some unreleased render for Nightmare's SC4 Alt. Now that I know who he is, I am little impressed. A fire-golem? It's a cliche!

Its clearly not fire. Its a form of energy, most likely the mix of Shao Kahn and Darkseid's energies. Its that rage mode stuff. Notice the color, and the shots of people going rage afterwards. As for the rocky appearance. Darkseid is rocky. His face, and I imagine so under his clothes. As for Shao Kahn, its armored looking, and has a skull face, like Shao Kahn's mask.

Though yet ive seen these photos I hope thaqt they dont make Dark Khan a mindless rampaging monster the way he looks though thats might were this boss might be headed I pray he isnt mindless nor playable.

I like the look.
I wouldn't want it to be like a cheesy, easy to make up design where it would be Darkseid with Kahn's helmet and armor or something.

This is cool though I do think it could've been better.

Jack Burton is happy with the look of Dark Kahn...

I agree a little more Kahn could have went into the design, but I'm happy with it nonetheless. I think the MK team could have done a lot worse with Dark Kahn then this, so I'm satisfied.

And THAT'S what Jack Burton has to say at this time.

Well, I personally like the look of Dark Kahn. Sure hes not a direct fusion of the two, but is that really what we want? Also, from what I can see, Shao Kahn looks so badass. It looks like his armor is a lot darker then normal, and a lot bulkier too. I'm liking these looks thus far.

The similarity to recent scenes in Darkseid's life struck me as mildy interesting!

I'd like to think some wild and crazy theories could be spun out of that, even if they're completely uninformed and misguided. tongue
