I know a lot of people are worried (including me) that this game focused a little to much on content like popular characters, fatalities, and mini games rather than improving the engine and overall gameplay... I am not saying that these things will not be greatly improved, but it appears that the focus is on the content as of now. Despite this, online play alone is enough to make this game that much better than past fighting games. Think about it for a second.... There is only so many rounds one can play against the computer no matter how great a game plays or looks. It just gets boring after awhile, and there is no substitute for playing against a friend head to head. I bet every one of us would still be playing deadly alliance daily if it had online capability. It would be like the arcades right at our houses. That is why Deception is going to be so great. The other things are just gravy in my opinion. I look at the smackdown wrestling games as my evidence to this.... I have the multitap. My roomates and I during college would play all of those smackdown games for months because it was so fun to play against and with your friends rather than just playing the computer. I know that deception is going to be the same way. We should not be worrying and complaining about the game because simply adding online play is going to do wonders for deception! I know that a lot of you will agree and disagree with this so be kind in ur flames.

Online play will help a lot. IMO it will keep the game alive much longer.

ya even if the game had no improvements it still would be fun to be able to play a real opponent whenever you pleased. Plus, I can't wait for all the trash talking that comes with winning and losing. Its going to be great.
