i disagree with making kung lao or any other earth warrior mk champion. IMO the mortal kombat championship should have joint ownership between Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. let evil prevail for a change. if they keep letting good conqueor evil in every game, mk is going to become too predictable and have a lack of interest with me and many others i suspect.

and 1 othet thing. i believe the mk developers tarnished lui kangs legacy by making him champion so many times. in real life, noone wins every damn time.(ie.) michael jordan, tiger woods, even in wrestling which is scripted, noone wins all the damn time.
the only tournaments lui should have won are 1 and 4.
2 should have been won by jax or lao
3 by sub zero
mkda by scorpion or tsung/chi.
they need to make sure the next game doesnt have a lame or predictable ending or less there going to loose a lot of fans of the game.

Did Liu Kang win every one?

I know the first one he did of course.

The second one he fought Shao Kahn when he was really pissed, and made him retreat back to his throne.

The third one, I'm not too sure, It was either him or Kung Lao who won.

The Fourth one Scorpion won, actually Quan Chi ended the tournament when he killed Shinnok.

I woulden't say Liu Kang won them all, but alot of them he did, I still don't think that should have made him die, which is the reason why many fans want him dead, along with his voice.

But If I were to choose a new winner, I'd get someone new to win the tournament, someone very different from Liu Kang and who we would all think is kick ass.

It only matters if he won the last offical MK tourny. The rest does not matter if he or someone else won.

I'd like to see Kung Lao as the new MK champion as long as his storyline doesn't go in the same direction as Liu Kang's storyline. In fact, I'd want Kung Lao's storyline to be deeper, darker and far more interesting than Liu Kang's and I think it can be done.

I would like Kurtis Stryker to be the winner!!!! JUST KIDING!!!!
I like the idea of evil winning this time... it is a good way to prolong the story...
