Man, and I loved Bo' Rai Cho. That used to be my favorite character. I mean I know of 58% combos with like Shujinko, but they're nowhere near easy to pull off. This is a damn shame. Never really wanted to quit playing MK:D, but man...Guess I have to start playing Halo 2 I guess or go back to Burnout 3...

No, your wrong. IT'S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!

I've been playing Burnout 3 for awhile but I'm not really into it. I played it for like 3 or 4 hours straight and only completed about 12% of the game. Now I've kinda lost interest in it. I think they put to much emphasis on the crash mode (which is great by the way) and overlooked the race elements a little.

-YAYO-, TAE-BO, I-NINJA

I faced two of the three and I think before I got mono (which I currently still have) , the 2nd or last guy was the LAST guy I faced on PS2online.

-YAYO- though is the bitch of the group. He won't face ANYONE unless they have a certain stat, theres no honor or anything with the guy. He's a coward bastard who doesn't know how to fight.

One of the last guys faced me and did that Bo Rai Cho infinite on me and at the time, I didn't know it was an infinite, but then I couldn't get out of it, even with a breaker, so I was f***ed in the match. I quit right after my match with him, because I had his ass beat and he pulled that off.

It's definitely a problem, but it's something we have to deal with. I'd just try to get some kind of proof to send to someone, just so we see what they do about it.

After I'm done with this damn mono, I'll be back on MKD:O to play. Just too damn weak to play it right now. But the weird part is, I did get better at MK1 and 2, mainly on detecting hits before they ever land on me...weird...really weird...

YAYO-, TAi-BO wont even face me because i give them w/ tanya what they give me w/ bo rai cheese.

just pick tanya vs their bo rai.. u now have a 50/50 chance of winning.. the match between the 2 becomes a guessing game of 50/50 hits and throws..

Here is the problem.

Its ALL a guess of 50/50.

I pick Noob-Smoke, and do the infinate combo on them with Smoke.

However, if I make ONE mess up, and they block low during a throw, OR if they jump out of the way, I'm screwed again.

I have NO IDEA how the hell to play against other, GOOD Bo's.

However, I WILL suggest that if you want to learn Bo Rai Cho's 70%+ combos, play -YAYO-, I-NINJA, or FWDXGRAB. They ALL do it, so just watch what they do, go into practice, and figure it out. I've had no luck in that department.

Good method Danadbab, makes sense, it sucks that he cancels when you pick Tanya. The damn stats should be thrown out now or resetted after every month because theres no honor in it other than to keep yourself on top with no consideration to play decently. At least with resetting them, you won't have to keep something that is supposed to make you look good when now it just seems like you cheesed for it and didn't use any skill to get it. The first thing most anyone thinks ofvnow when they look at the trophy room is probably "I wonder how many people he canceled on and how many times he cheesed to get that...." , even if pure skill was used.

and I'll admit, I was stupid enough to get caught in an infinite, but the damn point is to be able to break it when you have a breaker and I wasn't able to do it.

I wish they released an online version of MK, MKII, and MK3...too bad we still have to do that through other means. >_> Hmm...I haven't done that in a while...maybe I should do that while I'm away from my courses at school and work and while I'm sick.

omggggggggggggg, u still complaining, u hav and infinite with ya n/s, but thats ok, and as far as BRC break the damn combo, and the only charcaters that u can throw, throw 50/50 are really slow ones, and i believe ya n/s can get up fast enuff, and brc owns brc, jade owns brc, and dariou owns brc, the biggest prob is u can only fight certain characters with certain character, so im not picking a match till i like the match up, so if someone picks dariou guess what we will both be discualified cause there wont be a match happening.

Redseleen,

...read the whole thread before you open your mouth. I was responding to others in the thread.

FACT OF THE MATTER IS, in the hands of even a DECENT PLAYER, Bo Rai Cho is almost unbeatable. Plain and simple.

now that theres going to be an official tournament, guess what? Bo just aint right, or fair. Thats ALL THAT WAS BEING STATED.

So get over it man, your ONE of the people who abuse Bo, so your opinion counts less than used toilet paper.

This is what I was afraid of. People are definitely going to screw over each other in the tournament.

So what if I pick BRC? What if I actually like the character and like to use him fairly. Now I'm going to be kicked out of the tournament because of the immature dumb ass who screws me over and discounects. I'm assuming if I can't get the game going with the person I'm scheduled to fight then I to am disqualified?

I've had a couple people quit a game at the select screen just because they see me using Noob-Smoke. Why? I'm punished because I have practiced and devoted time to master the character? Besides, I'm still not unbeatable. I get my ass handed to me all the time.

So now your telling me I have to pick a character in the tournament that better suits someone else's skill level?

That's a croc. I'm hoping the admins will devise some method of weeding out the bitchers and moaners in order to cut the screw jobs down to a minimum.

If the person disconnects, that person is disqualified if he intentionally did so, and just gives up.. then you win. If your opponent doesn't show up, you win. You don't lose...

Hope this helps.... And we'll try to make this as fair as possible. Honestly there's not that many registered MKO users here who would cheat, but we'll be open minded... We'll take each case seriously and try to be fair. Dont' get too worked over this guys. There's not much we can do, but we'll try our best to make it fair. We do suggest if possible, somehow record the matches in case something goes wrong.

doom, like i had said before, on live no one uses that brc combo, the worst i hav done or will do is f3 throw f3 ground stomp, but u can break the 2nd f3, and im sorry but there is nothing wrong with going f3 than throwing , than backing up, ur n/s can throw, teleport punch, drop from sky, all 3 hits unbreakable, so i think the brc f3 throw is a fair move and equal to that, as for the bs 72 % i would never use that well, maybe on dariou, but another way to beat brc is with brc, when u go f3 throw brc is slow getting up, and 99% of the time they will block high cause if u block low u get hit with another f3, so u can go f3 throw, walk up throw walk up throw, after the 2nd time u get them, now its a 50/50 guess, u guess right with the f3 and another 30% and match pretty much over.

As for me, I am not going to fight cheese with cheese, as it makes me feel better when I win that way smile

Since I play online why more than I should I notice plenty of people that take losing personally and dsiconnect just before they lose. Especially high ranked players with big egos. In the rules it states that if both parties of a match post that they won, both are disqualified. Maybe they are betting on more honest people, but I know that some people who are good that lose will post that they won just out of spite to disqualify the other person. If they lost what would they have to lose? In fact they could take away the validity of your win. I can see this happening more than once. What do you all think??

sorry, I didn't read all the posts. Still, this makes me not want to enter because I know that I will plaster someone and they will be angry and post that they won. Most of my losses are 2 things...either I get knocked off something by chance or someone catches me in almost impossible cheap moves. darrius has some moves that I can't hardly get out of either. Anyway, I am Noob-smk online if you recognize me let me know.

i think i will be recording my matches,, my question is what happens if theres a stale mate on the select screen, casue we all no u hav to fight certain characters with certain characters in this game.... this is why i wish they still had the make ya square invisible so the other player cant see who ya picking.

I can see that happening often. Perhaps recording the matches is something everyone should take into consideration. I don't have a V.C.R. hooked up to my X-Box right now but I'm considering doing it for the tournament.

My question is this: What is the grace period before the match results are posted and players move up the ladder? If I'm disqualified unfairly how long will I have to prove my case (by showing the video) before the next round of people fight and I loose my chance to move up?

NTSC is American game format
PAL is European

Which means i can't play :'(

ITs also annoying that MKO can't have 4 letter names, thus i can't have my live gamertag as my real name, i have to stick (gamertag) after it which looks wierd.

Hey I have just signed up for the tournament, but how am I suppose to know that I will be competing? Is there some sort of bracket?? Anyways how do you record ps2 matches?? But yet again I won't win the tournament {lol}. Too much cheaters online. And theres a good chance someone will say that they won when actually I won. But I can't give up hope, at least I don't want to be the 1st one eliminated. And My online Handle is TRYLOGY. wink sleepsleep
