The new OXM magazine has revealed what the new mode is + more info....

He claims that he just received the new September issue of OXM magazine and that it has MKA on the cover. This is what he says the article in the mag on MKA says:
"Sounds like Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is going to be the best Mortal Kombat yet. 62 playable characters, including some strange ones. All the story lines will be tied together.
Konquest mode is shorter, but more rewarding, checkpoints are more frequent, and the action is supose to be fast, very fast.
You can make your own Kombatant. Which from the sound of it, is very customizable. You can make comic book hero look alikes. OXM said they saw some that "looked downright lawsuit-accurate."
-custom finishing moves, that can last up to 10 steps if you are good enough
The Kart Racing game can be played online (8 players max). The Kart racers are, Mileena, Kitana, Baraka, Johnny Cage, Cyrax, Raiden, Jax, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Bo'Rai Cho. There attacks in the kart game will be similiar to their fighting abilites (sub-zero can freeze, bo' rai cho turn around and pukes, etc)
Offiline, MK:A supports 4 player split screen, "in 720p, no less"."
So, if this is true then alot of people on this forum were correct about what the new mode would be. Personally I think MK Kart racing would be a lot of fun. I just hope that we can unlock more characters for it. Also, I'm assuming that last part about the 4 player split screen is for the Kart racing.....lol.

Well, my brother got this mag as well and he was sure to call me and tell me about the kart game. So I have no doubt that this is legit. He'll be bringing it over either today or tomorrow. He also said that the 5 page article mentioned the involvement of Khameleon (but nothing on Chameleon) for the first time in 3D. Also, why were any of you holding out on a tournament mode when the mk team said that the secret (not so secret anymore though) mode would have a comedic element to it? No tournament mode that I've played had any comedic element to it

Kart kombat???I was hoping for something like Poker kombat, everytime you lose, you get on organ ripped out. 5 times well...you do the math.
