Now there are only 17 days remaining until Deception, so Happy Sindel Day! It seems like only yesterday when I started this topic (in fact it was 12 days ago), so roll on tomorrow!
BTW did any of you catch the review of Deception in the UK magazine PSW? They gave it 7/10, while bashing it for being too much like MKDA and making out that the game is all about who can get the opponent into a death trap first. They say death trap victories are random and frustrating.
Did they play this game long enough to accommodate them, or at least find that you can disable them? I don't think so! Stuff PSW, I'm getting it anyway regardless what they say!

Yay 17 days! Any idea if XBOXOFFICIAL of XBOXWORLD or sommit has a review, hopefully they will release a demo, like on ps1 they released the tekken 2 demo with just jun and lei, so why not subby and scorp? HAPPY SINDEL DAY!

BTW, I've been hearing rumblings from the 'other' thread about how the game may be delayed until 19th Nov across Europe. I strongly believe that this is due to the confusion surrounding the release date, and NEITHER date has been officially verified (as fas as I know). It is possible that some countries will get the game two weeks earlier than others...
I shall continue this thread since there are a large number of people who still believe in the 5th Nov release date (and I am one), who are eagerly awaiting the game on the 5th and don't want to give up hope yet. If by chance the game is still not released by the 5th then I will either modify this thread and carry on for the remaining fortnight, or leave the other thread to count down alone - this will be based on the behaviour of the other thread's owner and the general activity on the thread.
To settle a few disputes over on the other thread, I originally decided to base this thread on the original US countdown thread (the one that went into hundreds of pages), and decided that 4 weeks prior to the game's release was a good time to start the countdown. I had noticed the other thread before I created this one - but not before I decided this was what I would do. At the time, his thread was aimed at 'Hollanders' and had a different date in the thread title, so I ignored it assuming both threads could co-exist since the release date in Holland may well be different to the majority of Europe.
No sooner had I started this thread than I noticed some peculiar behaviour from the other thread owner (which I won't go into now), and since then he has changed his thread to encompass the whole of Europe, and the release date to the 5th (just like mine). Originally, I created this thread as I targeted a different group of people to his so the threads were different - now he's cloning me and flaming every other post. I refuse to be drawn into flame wars since they don't help the topic and are really just immature.
Thank you DJWoodford and the others who have been defending me in his thread - I didn't even realise the majority of this was going on until I found out today. I really wanted to post a reply in his thread but resisted the urge since I don't like to flame, so instead these are just my $0.2 for those that are curious.

well we have to change.. a channel 5 show called boxing academy is being sponsered by mk deception and its the game is gonna be out a few days after the grand final which is the 15th

If this confusion is coming from my post, then I'm sorry. Even though Finland is a part of the EU the game is published here at the 19th. I've asked from different shops, when MKD will be published here, and they all said the date is the 19th of november. I don't think it's the same everywhere in Europe. I might be wrong since it's been almost a month when I last asked, the date might've changed.

Ok pps, best to press on for better or worse considering the current release date confusion... let's finish this countdown regardless, then I'll change it if and when the time comes.

Happy Kabal Day! Let's remain positive ppl! 2 weeks to Deception! There seems little point in changing the whole thread at the present time, let's just countdown to the 5th and hope for the best! Giving up now would just be defeatest, and since we're all aware that the game 'may' be delayed, if it is it won't come as much of a shock now anyway!
Anyway, the 5th is the closest to aim for, it doesn't seem so far away now. If the 5th comes and it's still not out, the 19th is only as far away from then as the 5th is now!

God, I feel sorry for you overseas consumers, I really do!
Here in US, a lot of us are already completed with the game, Konquest Mode at least. We have even hacked the discs, to see what else is left in this game.
Yet, you guys haven't even bought the game yet.
