Hey cheers guys, i have some news, i just bought XBM for the MKD review (Gave it an 8 which is alright) and it said on the first page, RELEASE DATE: 5 NOV, so theres still hope i guess

They aren't too sure in Holland. Still lots of websites who say the 19th.

hmv is the only place that says 5th i think.. the rest has 19th.. so im gonna check in on hmv soon

Well I know for a fact that MKD will be published here in Finland the 19th even though Finland is a part of the EU. But still I wish I'm wrong, and I might be. Nobody's perfect, right?

To be honest, I'm really starting to belive that it's gonna be released on the 19th, it's getting much harder to keep my chin up and hope...
Still, HMV say on their website that it's coming out on the 5th, so do GameStation - http://www.gamestation.co.uk
While some might think that the sites with it up as the 5th are just behind everyone else on facts, I have yet to see an OFFICIAL announcement of the games release, though it has been spotted on television that date may not apply to the whole of Europe.
Most big sites (the ones you'd expect to be 'in the know') still have the game scheduled for 4th Qtr 2004 or Fall 2004 so I still believe the actual date is still 'in the air'. I think one or two sites have made assumptions based on what other unofficial sites say - which could also be true for our 5th Nov date. The real release date possibly depends on how quickly they can ship the game out. The only other thing I noticed is that the only release date I've seen for MK: Mystification (French) is the 5th...

Well, this was bound to happen sooner or later - 11 days remaining until we either get Deception or the Truth, so happy Bo Rai Cho day!
If we do have to wait another two more weeks then we'll be getting the game a whole 2 months after the US. I just hope that Midway have been using the time to create exclusive Euro Version features, or perhaps a bonus disk containing an exclusive first trailer of Shaolin Monks? Indeed stranger things have happened! Otherwise it just wouldn't be fair, the US not only getting the game two months before us - but getting it with bonus content included! Maybe they're using feedback from the US premium versions to decide how to tackle the European bonuses - who knows?
If our game only has the one disk, less content than the US premium packs and arrives 2 months later, it's a double-whammy of unfair treatment towards Europe that I'll probably never forgive Midway for! If we got exclusive bonuses not available in the US that would probably be Midway's way of compensating us for the additional two month wait!
Believe it or not, I'm still cross that we had to wait so long for our version of Deadly Alliance, but at least the two versions were the same. MK7 will be coming to Next Gen hardware, so maybe I ought to buy an imported PS3 as soon as they're released!

I thoguht MKD came out in cotober in the US!
Also i doubt very much that Ed Boon has anything to do with release dates!

1.) the Kollector's Edition/Premium Packs cost more in the US, they weren't just given for free--we had to pay more for them.
2.) Most people in the US have only the regular version, as the special packs were limited release, and they are, as far as I know, completely sold, now.
3.) You guys really got shafted when DA came out, and I hope you don't have to wait any longer for Deception. I'm glad you're getting it sooner than you did Deadly Alliance. That wait time was totally unfair for you guys. (I live in the US, though, so I didn't have to wait)
4.) I also hope, but doubt, that you will be able to purchase a Premium Pack/Kollector's Edition.

Yeah, the US version came out on the 5th October. Some of us are expecting the PAL release to arrive on 5th November (exactly a month later), but if it's delayed to the 19th (2 extra weeks) then we'll get it 6 weeks later than the US. I was overexaggerating earlier when I said 2 months because when we've already been waiting a month for the game, to find out we have to wait 2 more weeks seems like we have to wait another month!
I'm gonna be busy for a bit, but I wonder if the PAL release date will be asked about in the chat event later?

i just rang HMV and they said its still the 5th but games are likely to change at the last minute

are you sure? because if you preorder to game now.. you get like this special addiction dvd like in the kollectors edition.. cept it doesnt have mk1 i dont think.. Tgrant has it.. so pm askin about it :D

I really can't wait to get my hands on MK:D. I started playing MK:AD again the other day to get my skills back up to scratch. Lol

I have deleted all of my pictures and MKD videos on my PC so that wen i get the game it will be fresh and ill go ooo thts soo kool and like ya
