Story:Sindel - Once the ruler of Edenia along side Jerrod, she had a daughter called Kitana. After Shao Kahn overtook the realm, she was forced to rule the Outworld at Kahn's side. Unable to face this, she committed suicde. Her death was unexpected and Kahn's shadow priests, led by Shang Tsung, made it so Sindel's spirit would someday be reborn: not on the Outworld, but on the Earth Realm itself. 10,000 years after her untimely death, she was reborn on Earth. This unholy act gave Shao Kahn the power to step through the dimensional gates and reclaim his queen, thus enabling him to finally seize the Earth Realm. She was the key to his occupation of Earth. Sheeva, a Shokan warrior, was hand picked by Shao Kahn to serve as Sindel's personal protector. Sindel then received visions of her true past and turned against Shao Kahn. She discovered her true past, not the lie Kahn had told her. But with Shao Kahn defeat, both the Earth and Edenia were freed and transformed back to their original states. Sindel was reunited with her daughter Kitana. She would be forever in debt to her friends on Earth as she ruled the new realm. Soon after, Sindel sent out an ambassador to other realms to forge new alliances. News of a great war reached Sindel, and Tanya asked for refugees to be granted asylum. After Queen Sindel was tricked into allowing them through the portal, she learned that one of the warriors was none other than the banished Elder God, Shinnok. Shinnok murdered many of the Edenian population, but Sindel was rumoured to have survived. Kitana took the throne after the was was over, but Sindel reappeared after the defeat of Quan Chis deadly alliance with Shang Tsung. A new threat put Queen Sindel's realm of Edenia in peril. With the aid of her faithful ally Jade, she travelled to Outworld to defeat the Dragon King and free her daughter Kitana from his control.
