46 Night time and you know what that means? I will be the only one to post here for like 9 hours. So when all of you bacon busters read this I will be in bed sleeping,and you all will be getting up.
Ok so about my last post. This MKD strat guide shit is making my mind do flips. Check this out,lets do the math shall we. (you better keep that 233 pound pick to yourself Ninja) Ok back to the subject. Barns and noble say they are getting the MKD guide early. Street date Aug 28,or 29, and if this is true,then we have alot to think about. 1 are they just talking out there ass? 2 are they really going to get it early? 3 Is the guide going to be a gimp version? 4 will there be two different guides, one for now one for later? 5 How big of a panic will it cause? 6 Is this just a publicity stunt? (that would be way cool) 7 Is the MK staff playing a little deception game.
And this leads me to bigger questions. Lets just say for instance, there is a release of the guide early. 1 will I have the will power to not buy it? 2 will every new person in the world get it and post spiolers?(YES) 3 Has a fighting game ever been pushed forward? 4 Is it possiable that the MK staff is planning the biggest Deception in video game history?
The way I look at this is. If this is just a bunch of hoopla then no big deal we get the strat guide early and wait one whole painful month to play a game that we already know all the secrets to. Why would the MK staff want that to happen? I am sure they would not want this to happen. So that brings me to my next point. Lets just say Midway allows the guide to come out early, that might mean they are planning to move the release date as well. And if we move some of the numbers around then we find that if all goes well the guide comes out on a Sat,sun,or Monday. That would not happen because it would mean they would have to ship it out on a friday or thursday. But if they did do it, just play along with me then the 4th of sept is a saturday. We all know there is no way a game could come out on that day. But the 1st is a wednesday. And we all know that is the day that most games come out. So maybe Midway is trying a little DECEPTION on the 1st. If not then maybe the following wednesday. Then the biggest question of all. Do you know how big of a stink this would cause? It would be Genius, the game has been hyped up so hard already. Does it really matter to us if they moved it forward? NO we would be like what.... MKD is where? right now? And as my friend Ninja would say NO WAY! People would be going nuts trying to get to the store and get the game. It would be mayham. This would be the single most crazy stunt and would probably cause there sales to double.
But as for now it is pure speculation. The great rumor mill says it is too good to be true. Besides all of there posters and trailers say OCT. More than likely the guide wil be released Sept 29th and the game on Oct 4th. But it sure is nice to think about. That would mean we would have to wait 10 or 11 more days for the guide. And 13 or 20 more days for the game. Holy shit that would be too soon. As for me I will believe nothing till I see it. And I am still sticking to the 4th of October. Midway does not have the resources and or the balls to pull off something of this calibur.

Oh what a headache I have.
Crazy, just plain crazy. I never thought about the strategy guide. They almost always release them early. Of course August would be majorly early, but not impossible. I know I don't have the willpower to stop me from going to pick it up. And once I bought it I know I would just go over every inch of it, damn.
This game is going to be the death of me.

46 can you believe it? just 7 more days and were in the 30's WOW this has been going by so fast.

I preordered my copy of Deception from Gamestop. Does anybody know the extra game that you get with it?

46 and RIG, I will not be putting the exact amount of days left becasue then people will only look at the tite and not come in to see what is going on. It's a good idea but i dont think it would work out that well.

That'd be awesome if they did release the Deception strategy guide this early. Then we could read biographies straight away without having to wait for IGN, we can get a heads up on combos, and we can get a look at character strategies(even though I don't really pay attention to it).

(Post written while preparing for garage sale outside apartment complex in order to pay for MKD. Items include: 1 SegaCD AddOn, 15 Sega Saturn Multitaps, 2 Green Ford Festivas, 1 Spikey Necklace, and 1 Gamestop Employee Manual)
So I've been in contact with the Marketing department at Midway. I think it's time for the Ford Festiva to make a comeback (for those of you who don't know, the festiva is a compact car that makes the Yugo look like a good idea). I've decided they could tie-in the release of MKD with the re-release of the Festiva. The "Fatality Festiva", with blood red paint job.
Just so everyone is aware DSB at one time owned TWO Ford Festiva's, neither of which was fully functional. When you rode in one of them, you felt like you MIGHT get where you were going.
Let's hope the rest of the days go by faster than a Ford Festiva.

46 and I see that my, Ninja wants to throw around some dirty stuff about the grease master. Yes I did own two Ford Fuckstevas. And I was wondering what happened to my necklace. I too have some stuff to throw into that Yard sale. A sweet ass Black leather jacket with a symbol for heaven on the back, Some old Thai noodles still in package. A sweet movie on DVD of Six string Samurai. Oh some roller blading pads (I have Know idea where they came from). Some old pictures of Ninja Kissing someone....He Hah ahha ha. An old book on how to be a better pool player, as well as a book on Samurai and Ninja legends.The list goes on and on. So on with the count down. Oh yea the Keys to an old Jimmy truck. Ok I better go before Ninja pulls out my old kidney stones and trys to sell them. DSB out.
