That monk guy whch Baraka had so called "blinded" could not be kenshi. Baraka had stuck his blade right through the guys head inbetween his eyes and when he threw him, his soul floated away, no way he survived.

i think that the L1 L2 R1 R2 one is a combination for a cheat in main menu cause when you press these buttons and press up or down the cursor doesn't move so maybe you have to enter the code which is in the soul tombs < ^ ^> but i'm only guessing

This may have been said, and I haven't tried it yet, but maybe if you put the "...Fed all Living Trees?" message, and the "Use the Torpedo Move" together, and use it on Smoke in the living Forest, he'll fly into the Living Tree? Just a thought. Edit: Tryed it. No such luck. Another similar thought I had was the same as I've just mentioned, except maybe there are some Living Trees in versus mode? (I haven't unlocked the Living Forest in VS yet) That also goes along with the "There are some secrets in VS mode" message.

When you "fed" the 4th tree it was ment to unlock a secret boos battle but it was cut out because they ran out of time.

I think they lied about they cut out the tree boss fight, there is got to be a way to get an enemy in that area.

I tried enemy manipulation, but didn't work.

I think what pisses me off is how much stuff was supposed to be in Monks but, was taken out due to time. Yet, they still left in all the damn messages. I would rather have had a fully complete game a few months late than a almost complete game early. Oh, well.

Are you sure about that? Cuz I've gotten that message twice, both times when getting my ass kicked by Shao Kahn (who I haven't beat yet either...). So I was thinking that message was hinting to some thing about the 2nd half of fighting Shao Kahn where he has his helmet off. Maybe something like the 2nd time he does that spinning hammer move and takes a breath after he will take more damage or some thing? I dunno, but my guess is it has some thing to do with Kahn when you fight him. I say this cuz from what I can tell the game over message you get depends on where you are and at what point in the game you are.

Example: "Bye the Bicycle Kick" or what ever that quote is, that quote came up only once for me and that was when fighting that big demon beast thing for the 2nd time. I took that as a hint that the Bicycle Kick for Liu Kang was a wasy way to defeate this guy for the 2nd time, and I was right. Well atleast I started useing the Bicycle Kick on him when he killed me first time, and then I whooped him with no problem.

Anyways I've been getting this message a few times after getting killed by Kahn over and over,

"Ask Quan Chi. He knows all."

or some thing like that anyways. So Quan Chi is in the game too eh?

I know what the goro chandelier meant. in the place where you get your first fatality you can throw an oni up into rhe chandelier up above. it will fall but doesn't really do anything other than that

You can obtain one "Ying-Yang".

And perhaps, "There are more Secrets in The Pit." only makes reference at the "Ying-Yang" hidden in the Moon.
