meh xbox is crappier in terms of overall system appeal. but ok say what u want. ps2 will ALWAYS have better fighting game controls.

No way man lol xbox is far superior to shitty PS 2 lol@ the fact that PS 2 guys MUST guy memory cards, where xbox you have a built in harddrive heheheh meaning as many as you want and it saves em all to the xbox harddrive, or you could buy a memory card but it's not required unlike the PS2.
And as for overall system appeal, are you serious?Xbox is FARRR superior graphically it's not even funny.Online is soo much better online for the xbox then ps 2 it's not even funny, plus ps2 allows gameshark which is retarded, xbox bans cheats online which is the logical thing to do.
Xbox owns PS 2 any day, and nintendo will also do well with the wii and their classic gamepads.
And as for fighting game, no way that dumb d-pad for the ps2 is so horrible for fighters it's not even funny.Nothing more then a mere SNES ripoff which had the best fighting game pad btw.
The 360's is better then the PS 2, and xbox also.
I like pads where the actual gameplay D-pad is actually whole and not missing parts like spaces in the diagonal moves.
I agree 100% with solstar.

Yea, I get all that, it just doesn't look very well done... I dunno, maybe its just that I've been playin Mortal Kombat since it was first out in the arcade, and part of the reason I continue to play has something to do with the stories of the fighters... Actually, now that I think about it, thats probably the reason I love Mortal Kombat and every other Fighting Game is just kinda... ehhh whatever.
Making random guys and thinking up stories for them and forcing them into the story just isnt for me.
I'm not knocking people for looking forward to the mode or really even the mode itself, its just not me... just doesnt seem "authentic" in the MK story.
Ohhh well the fact that you haven't been into mk since the early days might be it lol.But yeah man, this KAK will own baby!As far as the storyline, well I don't think anyone really cares about that, that much so I wouldn't worry about that, it's just a KAK for our own delight.mkflegend Wrote:
you do realize thought that it'll play just like the rest of the game right?
With the air kombat, custom made combos, some special moves etc.
11 step fatality etc, etc.

I didn't say I havent been into it since the early days. i said the exact opposite... The Reason that Mortal Kombat is my favorite fighting game is because I have been playing it since day 1, and have been following it since.
And your response to my post about the story doesn't even make sense. I said I wasn't into the KAF because I was into the whole story and cramming a created fighter into the story was something I didn't like, and your response was "As far as the storyline, well I don't think anyone really cares about that, that much so I wouldn't worry about that". Why would I care if other people care about the story? I've followed the game from the beginning, and I do care about the story... thats the reason I don't like random fighters.

Sence i was 8 years old. I created a character in my head and so did my best friend also. We even made a story line to our charcters and others. Sorry to say they took my name in Deadly Alliance and made him female. *sigh*
But, i had the name first and will create him almost to the precise look. My Fr0sT character will be born finally! I hope!
Along with my best friends character InFeRnO. Can't wait for this game to come out.

The way you worded it man lol.I was responding to your post, well in that case I don't see all the fuss.
But if you don't like the KAK then don't use it.

I can't believe no one has seen or mention this, but i figured I should put it here.
If you look carefully at the MKUniverse kreate a fighter movie you will notice a koin indicator at the lower right hand corner of the screen indicating all the koins you have in MKA. Furthermore, there are numbers on the right side of the costume items indicating their price.
So, it would appear that you have to buy costume parts instead of having all of them at the beginning.
That seems bad in all, but since we have only one currency to deal with and other ways to unlock things. So, I don't think it would be terrible hassle to deal with.

That will give people something to work towards, so I think it's a good decision in a sea of bad choices.

Not a big deal man, that's for the more fancier looking clothes, you'll still get started with pretty damn good costumes for starters but depending on how deep you want your guy to look.

Way better. In SC3, the items you had to work with were ugly as hell and came right off your enemies from ToS mode, so your character just looked like some random knight/pirate/ninja/whatever guy. Here, you can make a person that actually appears somewhat like an official character instead of some generic enemy from konquest mode.
Plus, being able to customize a fighting style is definately a plus, since I didn' t like the disciplines they gave you in SC3.

i read on ign that if we beat blaze with our kaks that it gives us what we wrote as an ending.
from ign.com
'' . You can even put them into the action of Armageddon, and if your newly created character manages to defeat the final boss, you'll receive the ending that you designed. ''

well I hope for all the specail moves but as it looks it may be limited as they were thinking it would make the gameplay unbalanced..
but we haven't seen a video of whats new to it as the game is indeed finshed but as someone stated we will have to buy the parts using the kurrenty we earn
and Im very sure this will apply to the specail moves....
