only infinite in ki was the cinder one, how is ki a copy of sf or mk, there engine was totally unique, dont ever compare it to the other two.

umk killer couldnt perfrom it to u cause u were playing on ds, play him on an arcade machine where lag isnt there and he will land it.

jab cancel is a glitch and used to create more damage, just like ac.

i dont know what glitch u are talking about in mk4, the only glitch i new about was the hop kick/ uppercut glitch that was removed in the last revision. which worked for every charatcer, again where did i mention mk4 anywhere, so once again, mkf going totally off topic.

Red, how can you say something that results in infinity is not a glitch? Of course it's a fricken glitch. The simple fact that it can only be done online tells me it's more of an anomaly than anything else. And screw this talk that it takes skill to be able to perform it. Over this past week, I've played really good and really bad players. Amazingly only the shit ass players were looking for a chance to get in 33s instead of focus on skill rather than glitch.

I think anything broken that can be fixed is a glitch regardless of small that anomaly is. So 33s, A/Cs, free throws all those stuff can all be classed as glitches. But you're right in that it's in the sense that when abused by those players, it probably turns into a SUPER GLITCH!

the problem with infinites in mka is that they loop very easily but if you do a string combo like with one set of 33's and one ac and the total is 100% is it an infinite? yes. Is it legit? yes.

33 look simple in mka but they can be very hard to do. unlike umk3 where combos can be easily linked to infinates but they look more complicated and cool so it is legit.

II dont use either in gameplay but when I did try 33s I could never do them. It obviously has to do with connection (mine is garbage, I can barely go online with all the people raping my bandwidth). I just dont know all the technicalities like red. Seems to me its not a glitch unless everyone can do it. Can everyone? Also, does this have to do with the right timing like free throws?

Sup Ice?! I think the fact that NOT everyone can do it makes it even more of a glitch to me. Like something that's not supposed to happen. So some can exploit the deficiency in the program but others can't. That pretty much breaks the convention rule of play.

BTW, I use A/Cs combo, aerial combo 111 then combo. But that depends on whom I'm playing.

I never said it was the "same" for every character, I said it can be DONE to every character like you said, I compared it to UMK3's relaunch(as a glitch to get more damage) because most players that play all MK's at high level will tell you that UMK3's require precise timing while MKA's 33 can only be done strickly ONLINE and not offline and has potential to infinite someone the whole round. UMK 3 killer only relaunched me twice a few matches out of most matches, not to mention I was able to block a few of them on his jump in attempts...the rest which was majority was just normal matches, no glitch tricks just straight out big combos. I know about the jab cancel in order to cause more damage, but what I'm saying is that most players don't do that. At least the good players I played konqrr, dizgirl, umk killer, moody, DC, Dreemer, Buttman, Hanzo etc, etc the only high level tricks that most use are the kara jabs, corner pressure, crossover tactics etc, jab cancels occasionally (auto block counter) and that's only dizgirl that uses that well btw, everyone knows about it now and nobody does it and nobody good will fall for that.

I did bring up MK4, but only because my point is in every MK game or fighting game the heck with MK you're the type of player that will resort to the games "glitches" whatever that may be in order to win, when an actual good player will just learn and master the basics first because knowing the little things wins matches not just "glitches" btw, I'm referring to the auto combo HP, HK, launch repeat it's on ultimatemk.com called a specific name but it's not worth trying because it's beyond difficult....but if you do it, it's unescapable.

And I didn't say KI was "a copy" lol...another case here where you misunderstand what I typed. I said KI is a fighter that combines the ideas(inspired if you will) by MK and SF, example....gameplay is unique in it's own way, but take Jago, Cinder, Fulgor etc. The moves like fireballs with Jago is KI's Ryu/Sub-Zero, Jago also has an uppercut move that's just like Ryus/Kens from SF and he even says something. That's just like SF, thus where they got the idea of similarity.

With MK, KI took cues with the "finishing moves, darkness and pits" example the roof top with the car, MK pit 1 anyone? And the horrible imitation of Fatalities called "Humilations" with Orchid turning someone into a chicken, Fulgore shooting beams etc.

That's what I'm referring to when I say KI is a combined SF/MK with ideas, cues. The gameplay is different from both SF and MK but the special moves, projectiles and enviroment with finishing moves are no doubt SF/MK inspired...
