Meat escaped from Shang Tsung's flesh pits before he was fully formed. When he defeated Blaze he gained the power to morph into other people. Eventually this destroyed his own sense of identity, and he disappeared into obscurity

Blaze's death undid the curse that the Shokan put on the centaur race, turning them all into Minotaurs, now the Centaurs will have their revenge

Baraka becomes all powerful, and tells Onaga and Shao Kahn to bow before him, they refuse, he kills them with his new extra large blades. He offers Mileena a chance to be his queen, she wisely accepts.

Confused that neither Taven nor Deagon won the tornument, the Elder Gods have no choice but to make Sheeva a goddess of destruction, after she destroys the realms they are reformed into something unlike anything they ever were.

The endings aren't viewable in Kontent. The only things that appear in there are the Kredits and a few game demos. Kind of frustrating.

There is no Kontent option...stuff unlocked in the krypt is viewable there, but there does not seem to be a way to rewatch endings, I could be wrong, I'm still looking.

What does Kintaro have anything to do with Hotaru, Sub-Zero and Havik? He has never even interacted with any of them before.

In the ending, Sub, Scorp, Havik, and Hotaru represent the forces of Ice, Fire, Chaos, and Order respectively. Taking charge of these forces through killing the warriors with these magic swords is what makes Kintaro so unstoppable.

Also, Shao Kahn goes insane when there's nothing left for him to conquer. Though most of the endings do suck, I thought that was a wry little in-chara joke there.

Whoever defeats Blaze recieves god-like status, that's what you find out in Konquest. Basically the endings are "what would happen if ????? gained the powers of a god." I can't even find bios for ANY of the characters in the game, the entire game is practically devoid of plot outside of Konquest. I think we're supposed to just view it as a treat....like what would happen if our favourite character could get his greatest wish?

Anyway, I'm eventually going to get all the endings, I'm starting at the bottom and working my way up, I'll share more when I have them

The katas aren't that bad really. I'm guessing having 62 characters pushed the memory capabilities of the game to the max, and instead of trying to add at least 124 new high quality pics to the game, they just have the 3D models go through some preset routines while the ending is read. I'm ok with the Kata style if that was the cost of getting all the characters in one game...although the endings themselves aren't fantastic.

So, basically, instead of wrapping things up, we learn what would happen if a character defeated Blaze and absorbed his amazing godlike powers. Damnit.

I think they should've had a more "Twisted Metal" route to it (kinda like what we saw in Kenshi's and Shao Kahn's endings), and had the powers backfire one people more.
