The Official Smoke speculation thread

Since there have been several rumours about Smoke lately I decided to make thread where everyone can post their thoughts about Smoke. A BIG controversy lately has been the mystery of wich form smoke will appear as in MK:D. Some people say he will be cyborg, some say he will be human, some say he will be half human/cyborg, some say he will be an elemental of smoke. Temperaryusername has told me that his main costume will not be either cyborg or human but that it will be completely different. Dark_Noob also claims to have inside sources and that Smoke will in fact be an elemental. Therefore I draw my conclusion that Smoke is in fact going to be an elemental of smoke in MK:D

Hey man my bad.. u know what i mean anyway i think if enough pple post on your thread cause most ppl dont on mine*sad* that if one day a Midway emmployee comes on they'll get the feeling that they should share a pic and an exact explanation of what the hell he is. Soo no hard feelings?

Konqrr was the first one to say "Smoke will be neither human nor cyborg." Where the elemental crap came from I have no idea.

I'd say he's 50/50. Part cyborg, part human.

Where is Konqrr, anyway? I miss that guy. I suppose he's either busy working his sources or laying low to avoid detection by Midway spies. grin Actually, he's probably occupied with real-world stuff. I have a full-time job, so I know how that goes.

id like to see whut hed look like as an element but..if he looks crapy ..he should have an alt as cyborg.but with a totaly diff look from the old cyborgs

Whether he be human completely, complete robot, bit of both or just some random smoke thing....hes going to cause an uproar, we've been waitin for Smoke for TOO long!
I personally cant wait for him [aswell as Kabal] to make an apperance, hes just an amazin concept, his name, his storyline so far, everything! Smoke will kick some ass!

Listen guys, i swear to god is Boon screws smoke up by making him an elemental i will burn midway's headquarters down. He was not brought into the Mk series to be a pallete swap of blaze. He is half human half robot, not a elemental figure of smoke with no flesh. Bring on robo smoke for MK Deception.

Smoke's main outfit is neither human or cyborg so get used to it.

If he is an elemental, there's a good chance you might change you're mind when you see him. I won't divulge his appearance, but I promise you he isn't a pallette swap of Blaze.

Temp, Is there any chance he could look like an elemental but he is still cyborg, and when you punch him smoke drifts away and reveals his cyborg form. You could see his cyborg form in the shape of smoke. I don't know something like that. Do you think they might do that. It's kindo of like Mortal kombat annihilation where smoke is a big cloud of smoke and then he comes up behind liu kang. Something like that. You know what im talking about?

I think Smoke should be made out of liquid titanium, like the TX and T 1000 Terminators. He could have that metalic polish and eyes surging with blue energy.

I'm going to predict that Smoke will be a selectable character offering many hours of fun for his fans.

Not that I don't beieve anyone's sources or info -Temp, Konqrr, and Dark_Noob are all great guys, but I'd rather not go about becoming more paranoid than I already am.

In the meantime, I'll just sit here, waiting for the first official screenshot or render to come along, while I rock back and forth in this here chair, clutching this here rifle...

What are your opinions on Smoke having his cyborg, human, or new special moves. This of course depends on his appearance but since his main costume is neither cyborg or human than its safe to say he will have some new special moves along with maybe some old ones.

I remember a long time ago some one made drew a sketch on what Smoke should look like. I was amazed at what I had seen. I think it is on the Fan Artwork section on this site.

For his moves, I think that they should take advantage of the smoke element to create his moves. I believe it was tgrant in another thread a couple weeks back who came up with a lot of awesome moves for him. If they do the moves right, the Fatalities, and his look right, then Smoke should kick ass.

But there is always that chance that they might screw up unfortunately.
I was looking but i cant find it...i dont know what would be cool or dumb. I was on page 32 and stoped.
