I think it will be nightwolf he's an indian and awesome and he's a helper like you saw him in Annihlation helping Lui Kang out with his animality. I just think thats how it will be he's strong and powerful and would be a good leader.

I think that the this is that there is no "One" yet! that's why they all have to punch in, nightwolf, sindel, Raiden sacrifises himself, It's an all star bash.
Probably a "Chosen One" will appear by the end of the game, that's why I think liu kang's ghost/zombie are here, to pass the role to someone else

I wouldn't be suprised if it was Nightwolf. When you see Liu Kang, then Kung Lao, you think of the next champion as Nightwolf.

Hey RIG you can't help being an ErMaC FrEaK as i am right?. Anyways i might think sub zero is the chosen one, even though it contradicts the fact that olfer guys are the chosen one i think he has done enough for earthrealm to be the real champion of MK.

My first choice obviously was Kung Lao. But, as of right now he is no where to be found in the game.

My next instinct said Sub-Zero. He is desperate to prove that he and the new Lin Kuei are on the good guys team now. But, at the same time I really couldn't see Sb-zero as the protector of earth. It's already been said that members of the Lin Kuei question his leadership. If he can not convince and rally his own clan, how would he be fit to lead the people of Earth?

Nightwolf? Possibly, but as you said, we haven't seen Nightwolf since MKT. Who knows what he was doing during MK4 or MK:DA. I don't think it will be a returning character either.

My vote actually goes to Scorpion. He himself is neutral. He does not favor good or bad but instead fights for what he believs in. And what better way to breathe new life into his story? Regardless of whether he is a spectre or not, he obviously has honor and loyalty. Up untill now he has only been after revenge, but the qualities for leadership are still there. The more I think about it the more I can see it happening.

I want it to be Ermac so bad! but I guess it might be somebody who is good side. I don't know? maybe Nightwolf!?!

I'm hoping that the new hero is Subzero, as it should be. But I have a bad feeling it's going to be Ben. It makes sense, but it's still a bad choice in my opinion. I think I even remember reading somewhere that the new hero was going to be someone new.

Anyway, I'm not saying Ben is a bad character, but the title should go to a character who... hell, I don't know... EARNED IT!!!!

Anyway, I hate the idea of a champion. It makes the story go stale and puts all the focus on just one character. That's why I hated Liu Kang. Also why I hate Kazuya and Jin in Tekken, or Ryu and Ken in SF. They're not the only people in the games!

I think it might be Kenshi. No good reason why though.

Got to be Shujinko. He's trying to save all of the realms, for crying out loud! Surely that makes him the chosen one?

If anyone, it would most likely be Kung Lao, but he doesn't seem to be in MKD yet, so I think it'll be sub-Zero this time around. And he deserves to be, although being the MK champion isn't exactly the best thing in the world for you. Look at Liu Kang.

Sub-Zero has so many challenges ahead now and after everything he has done for Earth realm, being the next Champion of Earth would be a nice reward for him.

I'd prefer it to be Kung Lao simply because of his story and the fact that he too has earned it.

Nightwolf on the other hand doesn't deserve it. He's been gone for so long and then to come back and take that position would be wrong.

And no new character should get it either.
