Scorpion’s story could evolve in SO many levels, in so many ways, yet this never happens.

Now, what if they introduced a new character in the game, who happens to be family-related to Scorpion? We know his family is dead, but we don’t know if there were any exceptions.

I think there is a lot of potential in having someone from Scorpion’s family in the game, but not with the typical family love reunion story, but instead; for some wicked reason, this family member has mysteriously come from nowhere, with the only purpose to destroy Scorpion.

If the character happens to be a girl, I think it would kick ass to see her be Scorpions sister, the only living family he has. He will have to face the deadly girl, and decide if he should destroy the one thing he has been fighting for all his dead-life, or die at the hands of his sister for .”love”.

It could even be his mom.

Don’t like the sister/mom idea? Well, don’t worry, it can be anyone, and I had thought about something else. Drahmin should return, as Scorpions brother or father.

You see, it seems this 2 will be in “war” for more then a while, and if Drahmin managed to recover his old form, I think there is potential if he not only recovered his human form, but also his memory, and is now aware that his brother/son is alive and he wants revenge, he wants his blood.

For what reason? There could be many:

-Working for someone else.
-Revenge because Scorpion was supposed to protect them, yet he let them die/suffer or ignored that they were still alive.

But one thing must be a must. He must know who he is fighting against, and the family member should know as well. I wouldn’t like it to be the same typical story were at the end, they discover who they are and decide to unite forces and fight together.

This must be dramatic! Brutal! Deadly! SAD!!!!!!!!!!

Scorpion VS Sister/Mom

Scorpion VS Brother/Father

Oh! Listen to you now! First the future of MK could do without Scorpion (And Sub-Zero). Now all of a sudden you have this huge plot twist in your mind that would be badass to implement in a future MK game. Which is it?

Ehhh, I dunno queve. I don't really like this idea. I agree that Scorpion needs a huge storyline evolution but I feel that this wouldn't be too good of a direction to go...

Here's my idea:

Let's say when they married, Scorpion was not on good terms with his wife's brother. Let's just call his brother "Kenzo", cause it's shorter than "brother in law".

So anyways, Kenzo was an Interpol agent and accomplished martial artist. He was investigating a string of assassinations when he discovered that his brother in law was a deadly assassin. Kenzo barged into Hanzo's (Scorp's real name) house, and the two fought. After a savage fight, Scorpion was about to kill him, until his wife came home.

His wife made Scorpion promise not to kill Kenzo. Scorpion said he would allow Kenzo to leave... this time. Shortly thereafter Scorpion was killed by Subbie. Kenzo in the meantime had told Interpol about Hanzo, and the location of the Shira Ryu's base. They raided the location, only shortly after Quan Chi had attacked. Scorpion's wife died in Kenzo's arms.

He was depressed and hateful, planning to kill Scorpion the next time he returned home. Only his headless corpse was returned from the Shaolin temples.

Kenzo eventually was transferred to the US Special Forces. Upon learning of a spectral yellow ninja, Kenzo asked Sonya about that warriors name.

So, with the knowledge that Scorpion was still, in some ways, alive, Kenzo set out to kill the man whom he blames for his sister's death. Meanwhile, Scorpion had gathered several new abilities from the netherrealm, such as a limited amount of telepathy. He knew Kenzo was hunting him as fervently as he was hunting Quan Chi.

He learned through the telepathic bond, that Kenzo had decided to wait a day before striking at the Shira Ryu, and if he went immediately, his wife could've been saved.

Both blamed the other for her death, and both planned to make their reunion a short, deadly one.

I like it! Actually, I love this idea of a lost member returning to kill scorpion for some unknown reason.

It could finally add a new direction to his repetitive storyline. If not, just get rid of the guy.
