YES! YES! YES! Please bring back Liu Kang, one way or another!!!
I don't know why so many people don't like him. I don't care, just bring that son of a gun back!
It would be cool if he was a playable character (hidden would be better), but to stay true to the storyline, it'd be better if he were a hidden challenger (like Smoke and Jade were in MK2).
When MK3 was out, there was a (fake) rumour that you could fight Johnny Cage's spirit in the graveyard background (seeing that there was a Cage gravestone there)
I don't know, in MKD they could try the same format, maybe have your character travel to a realm of souls (netherrealm?) so you could fight his spirit or something?
Or kill Shang Tsung (via fatality) to unlock his soul to make him playable / fightable?

If he were to come back, I think the elder gods wou;d bring him back because they have no champion to fight for them in the MK tournament.

Although, if Shang was defested by Kung Lao, they may give Lao the chance to prove himself and so leave Kang dead.

In that case, he could be brought back by Shang or Quan, but since it is his soul, how would they make him evil? It would be very risky for them to put his soul back into another body!

And yes I know this topic is to discuss how the fans would want him to come back IF he did come back. Well IF he did come back I would still want him dead.

I think Liu Kang can come back. THey have been doing it to Johnny Cage for how many games. I think that an evil Liu Kang would be a good idea for a movie, maybe a game. I think it doesnt really matter for he would probably have the same moves.

Whats the point of MORTAL Kombat if everyone that gets killed or dies is ressurected or comes back in evil form?? personally I think that Liu Kang is a great character but I dont want him back, lets have a new kombatant instead. Let Liu Kang RIP!

Johnny wasn't inexplicably resurrected. He's been alive since MK4. He was resurrected there.
If Liu is resurrected, the means probably won't be any big deal.

I would just like to see him back with his classic voice and bicycle kick!

If he was to return.. I want him EVIL... maybe reesurrected by the dragon king or the Deadly Alliance... since they do have hhis soul

Noob killed Goro in TE not DA and yes Liu Kang should stay dead if the producers confirmed his return i'd have to go there and slap them all
