I'm not sure whether the dragon king has the ability to transfer souls back into the soldiers of his who sacrificed themselves for him so this thread will have a few questions. Do you think the undefeatable army will be revived? Should they be revived? And if they are should you be able to play as one of the soldiers or at least fight against them?

Well, the original soldiers who sacrificed themselves to accompany the Dragon King in the after life no longer have their mortal bodies.

I think that they would be ressurected from whatever realm they came from and would reclaim their position as the Dragon King's grand army.

Shang Tsung and Quan Chi have tapped into the empty corpses and transferred souls from the heavens. So the soldiers in "Deadly Alliance" are not the Dragon King's true soldiers. It is just dead corpses filled with the possesed souls of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi's amulet.

Now that the Dragon King returned I think everything is going to go crazy. Due to the soldier's will to the Dragon King I think that they would reclaim their bodies and have all the souls that Shang Tsung put into them to be swirling around each of the realms.

Mabey Liu Kang could come back in this way.... and so could Li Mei..

When it revives the Dragoon King, it would have to also revive his army (by something they buried them with him), but not with form of zombies, as it revived the Deadly Alliance, but like humans again.

I'm convinced that Kung Lao defeated Shang Tsung before had finished transplanting souls to the army of the Dragon King, which also broke the spell that was doing to the amulet of the elements (which, if it had been finalized, would have given the power to the amulet to control the zombie army of DK) and ending of Li Mei was not fulfilled.

Wouldn;t it be neat to fight one of the soldiers of the army as a sub boss?

I don't think it would be a sub boss, maybe a special match before the sub boss like the old one on two/three matches that they had gotten rid of. My only problem with having a soldier of the undefeatable army as a sub boss is that they are normal height and strength, sub bosses need to be HUGE so when you go up against them you're like "how the f*&$ am I supposed to beat that thing?" but having them as part of a special match would be interesting. If nothing else just having one of them as a character to fight at the very least.

I think that the Dragon King soldiers should be an endurance match in which you face two of the soldiers maybe three.
