If you haven't seen the intro movie, do not read this...





Shujinko says in the beginning of the intro, "The blame falls squarely on my shoulders for giving evil the chance it needed." He also says at the end of the movie, "I was the fool who brought him this power. Only I can destroy this threat born of deception."

So the Dk somehow tricked Shujinko into relinquishing his power or somehow attaining it for for him. Shujinko is now back to stop the DK. I wonder what events took place originally that gave the DK his power. Any thoughts?
