Their sister has to be Frost. I don't see any way Frost can't be their sister.

I didn't have the time to read through all the posts...sorry if it's been said. But my "theory" if ya wanna call it that...is that maybe the amulet is aging him, but at the same time heals his wounds, may they be permanent or recent...eh, just my 2 koins...

I agree. I never knew the Subs had a sister till i read the Kombat Pavillions storyline. Once i read that, i jus added 2 and 2 together. Its jus too much of a coincidence.....

Non were neccesarily evil per say. Sub-Zero the 5th from MKI was more of an anti-hero... he was someone who did anything for money. Some man will hire the Lin Kuei for their services (perhaps to assainate an enemy, or retrieve something unobtainable, etc.) in which they may seem like they are doing evil deeds, but in reality he was just makin his living and being loyal to his clan.
Sub-Zero the 6th wasnt evil either, in MKII he started out like SZ the 5th, being hired to perform the assination attempt on Shang Tsung that SZ the 5th didnt accomplish in MKI due to his death at the hands of Scorpion through revenge. After MKII, SZ the 6th started to rebel and show signs of incompetence through the Lin Kuei masters eyes. After awhile when they started to automate their warrior for more sufficent results, so they can take orders more directly without having seconds thoughts as humans do, Sub-Zero and his friend Smoke ran from the Lin Kuei. They got smoke but Zero escaped. After that Zero the 6th pretty much was a rebel, loner, then grandmaster as seen in MK:DA. Thats a basic over view.
So neither Zero's were evil, as in a Quan Chi or Kahn sense, they were just following orders, whatever they may have been, good or bad.

That could have happened, but I doubt they would remove such an important part of Sub-Zero. That scar marks part of his history. It is also an identifying mark. It's not something you just remove. It'd be like taking away Raiden or Kung Lao's hat or Cages sunglasses. It's something you don't do.

I couldn't agree more. Sub Zero the 5th actually got caught up in a situation where he had to fight on the good side. Not only that, but he also handed down secrets to his younger brother "that could hold the key to stopping Shinnok." As for Sub-Zero the 6th, I think he was on the good side since MK2. The official MK2 comic (you know, the one Midway offered a mail order for through the MK2 attract screen) kinda supports this opinion.

if this is the same sub zero from MK:DA then why does he no longer have his ice block hands and how did he get so scronny?
