Theory on Sub-Zero

I think that Sub-Zero isnt ageing drasticly.
I think he is becomming more and more "Elemental" and will eventually be like blaz except an ice version. In 4/Gold and DA he has his arms and legs frozen, i think this is where the transformation starts. In Deception when you see his alt he has a white ugly ass face that is almost bald. I think this is the second step. and in the next game he will be fully transformed.

would be a lot cooler than him aging but wasnt is confirmed somewhere that he was aging drastically?

I think you are right, but I am having a hard time dealing with it. I don't want Sub-Zero to turn into an all elemental character like Blaze.
If Sub-Zero's body was all ice, then he would look just like Ice Man from the X-Men. Sub-Zero already looks like Shredder but it's cool. Sub-Zero still holds his ninja look down pretty well.

It was the Dragon Amulet in DA which was making him as old as he was. The power of the amulet weilds great power, but at the price of your age. Only a true master could handle it, which is why Frost got fucked when she tried to steal it. He doesn't have it in Deception though, at least i don't think he does.

so it'd be sub-zero and blaze, but like glacius and cinder u know? and we can't have that now can we? no. it's sub-zero and scorpion, and it will always be sub zero ans scorpion. no glacius type sub zero. but cool idea

nope, sub zero doesn't have the amulet, because the dragon king took it from quan chi after he destroyed him and shang tsung in the blast in the intro. there
the dragon king has the amulet

Obviously, Sub-Zero is not aging gracefully.

The Dragon King took Quan Chi's amulet, but Quan Chi's amulet is not the same as Sub-Zero's. So he could very well still have the Grand Master Dragon Medalion

I think I read somewhere that since he learned the origin of his mastery over cold, he can now fully control the Dragon Medallion and stop aging. I also read somewhere that he has absorbed the power of the amulet, so since he no longer wears it, he will stop aging so fast after this game, and gradually go back to the age and look he should be at. Either way, at least he's mroe powerful now and will stop aging.

On sub-zeros alt with the ponytail he has pics of the amulet on his clothing. Which is another possibility he could vary well have it. He probably thought the dragon king was gonna take it. So he ate it. Now it wields the power and is now invisible...

I honestly hope he doesn't age and goes back to youngish cool looking Subby. Because Old Subby looks MAD ugly. Yes, I also read about his mastery over cold origin but nothing about him not aging :/
