An interesting theory, but there is very little logic in the whole "No Sektor" scare. I think many are overrating the importance of the MKD website's source code. It is indeed relevant, but it doesn't have biblical status so that it can be used as a referrence who is and isn't in MKD.

Fact is that there is a cyborg on the E3 select screen, and we know it isn't Smoke. that's hard to overlook, peeps.

I doubt that sektor would attack the whole earth and turn it into a wasteland. The idead just sounds stupid. And i doubt that Sonya, jax and cyrax would go so easily. Cyrax has recovered his human self now even though he is still part machine so i doubt he could be reprogrammed.

Ahem, I said THEORY, not FACT. It's just one of the possible scenarios. I can actually see Sektor creating a bunch of cyber ninjas and taking out the SF. Also, Cyrax has not completely regained his humanity. Sektor could brainswash him and return him to his cyborg assasin status. He could easily take out Sonya and Jax if he had an army of cyber ninjas with him. Let's do a little math here:

Jax and Sonya vs. 50 Cyber Ninjas

No prizes for guessing who wins. Also, Sektor might not want to destroy the Earth, he wants to kill Sub-Zero, but, when he comes to the Lin-Kuei headquarters and finds out that Sub-Zero is on vacation in Outworld, he might think "What the hell, I might as well have some fun while he's gone" and begin the torching process.

And Temp, I'm quite sure that Sektor will be in the game. All I'm saying is that a lot can happen between E3 and October 4th. Jade was shown in the prison stage, and yet she's now playable. I realize that the source code isn't almighty, but I'm just stating the possibility that Sektor might (mind you, I said might) not be in the game. I'm just stating a possible scenario on why he might not be in there.

Shock horror if this obscure ending Sektor had in the version hardly anyone here even played has been blown right out of proportion and he ends up appearing as a souless assasin or programmed bodyguard instead.

Sektor is one of ym favourite characters, and I'm really looking forward to him either playing a decent role in Deception or a lead role on MK7. I can see Frost and Mavado automated by the Tekunin for some reason. A cybernetic ice ninja would be pretty interesting. I hope they don't call her "Fridge", though.

My original idea for Deception has two new cyberninjas in the game. A brown one that pre-dates Sektor called "Prototype" and another called "Nightshade". A black cybernetic ninja who's past has something to do with Noob Saibot.

Anway, whether the Dragon King wins or loses in Deception, I can see Raiden, Shujinko, etc. returning to find a lot of Earth under Tekunin control. Sonya and Jax could be still alive fighting the Tekunin, but I can see Cyrax missing in action (I'd have him in the Vampire Realm). He eventually shows up fighting for a mysterious purpose.

Here's another idea:

Right, same idea, Sektor creates army of cyber ninjas, yadda yadda yadda, storms the Lin Kuei headquarters in search of Sub-Zero. He doesn't find him, and, in a rage destroys the Lin Kuei. He kidnaps Frost and brainwashes her to fight for the Tekunin. Sub-Zero returns to find the Lin Kuei utterly destroyed and his friends and comrades dead. He and Smoke vow revenge and search for Sektor.

You-Know-Who, you came up with a great idea of Sektor turning Frost into a cyborg. I'm going to start working on a character concept of her in cyborg form.

What a coincidink, I recently submitted a fan art fake to MKO that involves a few warriors of light fighting against the Tenkuin clan. I'll let you guys know when it gets posted.

Whose Viper again? I think the Tekunin could use all the members it can get.

I think that the Tekunin could kidnap Cyrax and Frost. They would brainwash Cyrax into becoming an assasin for the Tekunin, and they could convert Frost into a cyborg. It would be perfect. Cyrax back as a bad guy, and Frost no longer a Sub-Zero clone.

There was a Cyborg on the E3 select screen and it was definitely not Smoke. It could have been Cyrax but I doubt it since he had his chance in MKDA and his story was pretty complete. Sektor has had his time since MK/UMK3 to build this clan of his. It's about time he comes back, which is why I think that is Sektor on the screen.

Also keep in mind, on the official website they only listed 25, when the new GamePro confirmed that there will be more then 24(or 25 if you count the DK). 12 from the start, 12 unlocked and then others in Konquest mode. So there will be more then 25 total character no matter how you look at it.

What I believe, is that while the Dragon King is in Outworld fighting Raiden and the Earthrealm warriors.... Sektor's invasion is just beginning..... and I also think he will be in MK7.
