When it was said "a secret lies in every area of the game" did that mean that an area is any room between loading screens? Some rooms have a couple secrets to them others are empty. for 68 secrets (not counting smoke missions) there seems to not be more than 70 or so rooms in the first place.

The vines area I think they are talking about is the Living Forest arena. Unless I am mistaken, I have played the game a lot but I'm not always sure because my memory sometimes sux.

Something involving the far-right Dragon Logo door, perhaps?
i found this but it might be the secret.in the living forest ton the map it shows a door but there isn't 1.use the swing ability on the branches and you get in a tree fort where you fight lots of masked guards and then milenna.i found it and i think it is it

Throwing the dudes into the purple portals is one of the smoke missions, I think it is #4.

I haven't played this game in awhile but do you guys remember where the jail cells are right before the final battle? There are two doors one on the left and one on the right isnt there? Has anyone ever gotten into the one on the left? The right is Kano the left one is? Also what about at the end? When Quan Chi picks up Shinnoks amulet. Does that have something to do with the secret or is that just showing you what led up to mk4. Well thats what I think might be it.

Additional things I found that don't seem to do anything.
1. performing fatalities on other emblems
2. throwing mileena's bodygaurds into the purple portal.
3. attempting to translate the language on each pause menu map (was already done by a member here)
using bodies on vine walls to try and step jump as used in two other places of the game.
5. breaking pots and windows in specific orders and throwing enemies out windows, etc.
so far none have done anything unlock worthy. i also found that there are like 5 different red koins that unlocks movies. there are only 4 movies so i guess that way you have another opportunity to unlock it.
As far as glitches i did find out how to do the following:
1. No-harm fatalities: they act as a fatality but the enemy will not be severed or anything.
2. Invisible fatalities (using the cut scene with shang after goro match skip glitch)
3. complete fatality against thin air: split seceond timing after a hazard obliterates an enemy yet still giving you the opportunity to do your fatality.
these are fun but i still think shaun himmerick is just messing with fans to keep sales up. survival mode was probably the only true secret for mksm anyway.
