Wow, did anyone not know that the chinese believed in dragon 'kings' in ancient years? Midway definately did NOT get their idea from this myth, it is not related in the very least.

Well maybe they should have... I already said this, before MK used to use all kinds of Chinese Mythologies for ideas, and now they pull their material out of their ass.

Well, Tobias was the one that was all into Chinese mythology and whatnot. Hell, Tao Feng is full of the stuff. So without Tobias that whole mythology element I think has been overlooked somewhat for something more fresh and new... Whether or not that's a good thing or not is up to personal preference however.

A while ago, when I said in a post that Tobias contributed to the MK crew with interesting Ideas and I'm talking about Chinese Mythology not pallete swapping.
Put 2 and 2 together:
Tobias researched Chinese Mythology.
Chinese Mythology A.K.A. the Lin Kuei.
So, in essence, without Tobias, there WOULD be NO Sub Zero, and no Lin Kuei. No Cyrax, Sektor or Smoke. Maybe even no Scorpion.
