Absolutely not. This is the best look for Sub-Zero yet. Just because the helmet is somewhat similar isn't that big a deal -- it isn't like Shredder was the first to wear that kind of helmet, either.

I think he looks good, but I def. liked the old Sub-Zero better.

I dont like him compared to the old one in MKDA. He was really cool looking in MKDA, now his helmet is far too big. I dont really know what his alt costume looks like though.

He kinda does look like sub-zero, but he's evolving. I like the look, i even like his alt. I actually think it looks better

I dont like his charge attck it is cheap.If you get someone in a corner and keep doing this attack its virtually impossible to block.

damn someone else noticed it too. Sub Zeros helmet looks pretty damn identical to shredder's in Ninja Turtles. Also if any of you have seen Kill Bill Vol. 2 One of my personal favorites you will notice that Shujinko kinda looks like Pei Mei.

I really dislike Sub-Zero's alt costume. His primary isnt bad though. I wouldve much rather had his old look or the unamsked look from DA or even MK3. Anyways I wish they wouldnt mess with Zero or Scorp (although both of Scorpions costumes are cool) as those are the most popular characters in the MK universe.
I like Raidens new costume though...but I wish his alt was his white robes.
Overall my only gripe with MKD is the retarded amount of new people and not enough of the characters returning that made Mk what it is. I really miss J.Cage, Sonya, Kano, and Quan Chi.

They changed Sub Zero's look. That is all. Get used to it, or go away. You missed the commisseration train by 7 months. Clean out the bong resin; his pic has been around since the March (PSM or earlier).

Im just disappointed thats all subzero was my favorite character since Mk 1 and i cant believe they changed him so drastically they didnt change scorpion too much

I have nothing against his new costume. Its a completely new look and I like it. His helmet does remind me of shredder. Haha someone else thinks he looks like Pei Mei too. Only thing thats different is Pei Mei has that long ass beard that hangs down to his waist. Funny thing is if I remember correctly Pei Mei was also a member of the white lotus society same as Shujinko..

compared the the unmasked subzero from da he looks 10 times better. Compared to the masked one from da he doesnt look as good, but he still looks bad ass in my opinion. And the helmet looks pimp!! shreder was my favorate character in the tmnt. I think a new look is good. now you can tell him appart from scorpion more besides just the color.

I personally think both Sub-Zero and Scorpion looked better in MK:DA.

Don't mind them Bigmama.They haven't been around and followed MK:D like we have.This is a very very very old topic that has been posted about a trillion times,but like I said Bigmama,these newer guys have no clue about it untill now.As for the people acting like idiots over what Bigmama said....get over it!!!That was mamas opinion,point blank,period.If you don't like it then run back to the gamefaqs board or where ever you crawled out from.This board has alot of opinions,so respect them as you would want your opinion respected.

another thing is that subzero seems to be getting older in the series. IN da he had gray hair and in this one he has no hair exept for his ponytail.

I REALLY like his shredder look...I do not like his middle age crisis-going-bold-so-I-get-a-ponytail look though

Sub-Zero is a grandmaster now,not some renegade Lin K.Personally he looks more dignified and respectable.his alt costume from what ive seen in the bio looks weird but not bad.Also Philabong Shujinko is based on old hong kong movies,Jackie Chan had a few wit hthat guy in it,But he has a partner,i believe they were called Earth & Fire.

I think the new sub zero looks cool. What I didn't like was when they changed Reptile's appearance in the last game.
