It is believed that the blood was turned off in that video just for the sole purpose of letting you see clearly what they wanted to explain in the game without you getting distracted by the blood.
As for Joker's fatality and all of that, yeah, it does suck, but I don't think it was Ed's fault.
Yes, the game is T because of the decision, but that fatality had been approved by Ed, the team and DC, so, it was just the system that didnt allow it.
It was pretty brutal after all. But yeah, it does suck, but then again, the game is looking AMAZING. So, I'm happy.
